Silence

5. No Looking Back.

I don't know who this guy is, but he is oozing power. He is practically addicting, and I don't even know him, but I can't look away from him. His scent and his presence are making Winter go crazy and we both can't figure it out. Once he makes it to front of the line I get a better look at him. He has to be at least 7 feet tall in wolf form, his fur is pitch black, and his eyes are an electric blue so captivating that I feel like looking away would be a sin. 

This giant of a wolf lets out a deep growl making everyone bow down to him. Except me, his powerful growl gives me a tingling sensation that goes down my back making me shiver. As if he sensed me, he looks over to where I was, but I know he can't see me for I am basically one with the bushes and the snow, but I still look away like I was just caught staring at him. 

"What are you doing here" Tobias stutters getting my attention again. 

This wolf doesn't shift back he just stares Tobias down like he wants to rip his arms and legs off and see how long he will live for. 

"You know it is against pack law to kidnap children" a new voice replies but he is hidden behind the giant wolf so I cannot see him. 

"I am not a part of a pack so your rules do not apply for me" Tobias replies trying to sound intimidating, but I can hear the flutter in his heartbeat. He is nervous. 

 There is maybe 500 feet between both of these packs, as this other pack I'm assuming that is Black Summer pack inches closer. Making the wolves on both sides start to feel anxious since we all know this is going to end in a blood bath. 

"If you come any closer, I will rip this kid throat out" Tobias says while scratching the child's throat making him bleed a little. 

The giant wolf and everyone with him stop walking. No one saying a word. I can tell from Tobias body language he is going to do something stupid that is going to get us all killed. Seeing this as my sign to start sneaking up on Tobias, I decided that I am going to get this kid away from him since clearly, he isn't thinking straight, and I don't feel like dying. 

Sneaking back to where I came from making sure to stay silent and keep my scent hidden, I make it to the back of my pack and start walking through my members as calmly as I can making sure I don't disturb them too much and gain attention to myself. Everyone is too busy in this staring contest that they are having to realize what I am even doing. 

"What are you doing" A another female voice calls out "How can you hurt a child" 

By the sound of the authority in her voice she must be a luna. Looking up I can see it's the women who looks just like me, but she is staring right back at me. Right in my eyes. Ducking down because I know she is going to give me away once I see Tobias turn to look behind him.

"How could you do this to your own sister, to your nephew" she says getting his attention back on her. 

"None of you are my family" Tobias says matching the deep voiced male and the crying female flinch like they are in pain. 

Ignoring them all as they go back in forth, one side trying to reason and other side now making demands, you can probably guess what side is who. Concentrating on walking just 10 more feet. A warrior steps in front of me blocking my path. Taking a glance around I see another opening to my left but now it's going to be trickier there is nothing there that I can use to hide behind.
