LUNA'S POV
I looked at him and saw he has completely lost it. Soon dark clouds engulfed the sky, thanks to the street lights, or I don't know what my overthinking brain creates. I felt a shiver through my spines, I shot a glance at Abbysal who was sitting without moving his muscles.
I kneeled so that I can manage to put his arms around my shoulders. Just when I caught his hands I felt a strong breeze passing through us. I looked back, it was a person, a person with spiritual powers.
The air crackles with tension as I face off against the man who wields the sinister power to manipulate spirits, his dark presence looming like a specter in the night.
With my heart pounding in my chest, I draw my sword, the weight of it familiar and reassuring in my hand. My senses sharpen as I prepare to confront the looming threat, my mind focused on the task at hand despite the fear that gnaws at the edges of my consciousness.
As the man advances, his spectral minions swirling around him like a malevolent storm, I steel myself for the battle ahead. With each strike of his dark powers, I feel the chill of their presence, a tangible reminder of the danger that lurks in the shadows.
But I refuse to yield. With every blow, I push back against the tide of darkness, my movements swift and precise as I fend off the spectral onslaught. The clash of metal rings out in the night air, a symphony of defiance against the forces that seek to consume us.
Despite the chaos and confusion, I remain focused, my mind clear and my resolve unwavering. With each strike of my sword, I carve a path through the darkness, my movements guided by instinct and honed by years of training.
And then, in a moment of clarity, I see my opening. With a swift and decisive strike, I deliver the final blow, my sword flashing in the moonlight as it finds its mark. With a cry of triumph, the man falls to the ground, his dark powers shattered and his hold over the spirits broken.
"What's up with this man attacking us?" I was out of breathe to be honest, I moved back still looking at the man who started to decay.
I sat near Abbysal with my eyes stuck on the man. I shouldn't let my guard down. I sighed as I saw he was completely gone, decayed and his flesh burnt into ashes.
I turned to see Abbysal, his mask, was gone. He looked ethereal. His brown eyes tried to say something which I couldn't get it. And that's when I realised that while I fought that man my mask was off too. I started to search for it and was about to move but then..........
.........I felt myself on the ground and him over me, my hands pinned above my head. I looked at him with wide eyes, I was never been put in a situation like this before. I blinked twice to understand what's going on.
I thought he was possessed but then his sharp eyes which was piercing me softened and with no time his grip on my hands loosened, his body fell on mine. I brought my hands upto his shoulders as he was suffocating me.
His breath was hot against my neck, "this is not good!!" I said to myself before pushing him to the side. His body rolled over.
He is now laying down facing the sky. I sighed before standing up. I looked at his figure, I looked for his mask and mine.
I hesitated at first but then with courage I placed the mask right on his face. Adjusting myself I made a decision, I was restoring my powers just so if we were attacked but right now, more than being attacked by the enemy, I'm afraid of getting attacked by him.
I sighed before doing a summoning. "From shadowed realms, I summon thee, black horse of midnight majesty, come forth and serve under moon's decree!". Unlike the Raven spell, this one need special treatment.
