19. THE DECLARATION

HQ  MEDICAL CENTRE

"They would recover soon, they need rest for now that's all" 

The nurse said making Luna to nod her head. She found Abbysal and Malachor lying  on the bed with their eyes closed indicating they were asleep. She sighed as the nurse left the room before closing it.

Luna checked the reports and scans of these two before looking for the medicines. They were pretty drained out of energy and it takes days to recover to the fullest which is ofcourse a problem.

In no time the Shadow NEXUS would pull off another problem to erase the existence of th Legends. She rubbed her forehead for all the thoughts which ran through her mind and kept her busy until Malachor twitched in his bed, with a squinted eyes.

"You woke up?"

Luna asked making her way immediately to Malachor. She pulled out a chair and sat beside his bed. Malachor nodded and tired to sit up. Luna helped him and he sighed looking at his own condition.

He asked the report by pulling over his hands at her face. She took the file and placed on his palm. He silently read them as he felt his right arm stinging. Luna had a sympathetic look on her face.

"So I will not be able to participate on missions for a week or two?"

He asked with pure disappointment. Luna sighed and nodded. She read his expression well and understood his feelings. She gave a light tap on his hands which were holding on the reports.

"You need to eat now. The doctor told you to take medicines the moment you wake up!"

Luna noted making Malachor to sigh. He nodded as she stood up and went near a desk. She took the food tray and brought to his bed. He took the tray in one hand but hissed in pain when he lifted up his right hand.

"You were positioned huh?"

Luna asked. He didn't say anything but nodded trying to lift the spoon up. Luna was waiting for him to ask help as she didn't want to make him uncomfortable or awkward around her.

With no time Malachor looked at Luna with a done face for which she smiled knowing that he will have to take her help in eating. She nodded understanding his look and took the bowl from his hand which he didn't protest.

"Should have asked earlier!!" She said.

"Make it quick before he wakes up!!" Malachor said with a boring tone and with his usual sigh.

"Why?"

Luna asked taking the rice and feeding it to Malachor which he takes in with pleasure. He nodded and munched down the food before speaking.

"I don't think he would like the idea of you feeding me" he said casually making her frown.

"What? Why?" She asked.

"No wonder why they called you the smartest dumb person to live" he said making her to roll her eyes.

It is true that the legends have spoke about her like this most of the time from what they heard about her life and about her battle IQ.

"C'mon I don't get human emotions very easily. I can't get into conclusions okay. What he portrays is very hard to read unlike you guys!!"

Luna corrected herself for which Malachor hummed as if he was teasing her. Luna took about her spoon before shoving it harder inside his mouth causing him to Yelp.

"Helps?"  She asked with an innocent smile.

"I don't deserve this!!"

He mumbled and Luna rolled her eyes and took another spoon. She was waiting for him to much down the amount of food she shoved inside his mouth with no mercy. He drank some water and that's when they felt the bed twisting beside Luna.
