Chapter 10

"Sit!"

"Stay!"

"Heel!"

"Attack!"

I call out words. Telling my pups what to do. When I see Hermosa come into my view, I tell them to attack. Strom, leading the chase, runs after them. "Halt!" I yell out. My pups skid to a stop.

After a few hours of training I said goodbye to my dogs and talked to my horses and Bell. telling them what had happened on my journey. After that I say, "OMG I forgot about Sol!" I dash out of my home and run all the way to where I told Sol I would meet her. She was still sitting there, but looked weird. 

"Hola Ray. Debes abandonar este lugar lo más rápido que puedas. ¡Aquí hay peligros!"

('Hi Ray. You must leave this place as quickly as you can. There are dangers here!')

i am confused, i thought Sol spoke English last time we met. Oh well.

 "Hola Sol. ¿Pensé que hablabas inglés? Si me gusta dónde guardarás a Ember, la traeré aquí mañana."

('Hello Sol. I thought you spoke English? If I like where you're keeping Ember, I'll bring her here tomorrow.')

Sol looks even more worried. Looking over her shoulder. "What's wrong?" I whispered to her. Forgetting to use Spanish.

 "Por favor Ray. Alguien me está mirando, debes irte rápido. ¡Ellos quieren matarte!"

(Please Ray. Somebody's watching me, you must go quickly. "They want to kill you!")

I stay still for a little bit. "Necesito detalles." (I need details.) i say.

Sol shakes her head. "Ok i will show you the barn!" She says in english. 

"¡Ray, Percy y este guardia de la tierra de Ava se están uniendo para matarte! Percy está enojado con el caballo y al guardia simplemente le gusta ver sufrir a la gente y causar dolor innecesario."

 ( Ray, Percy, and this guard from Ava's land are teaming up to kill you! Percy is angry about the horse and the guard just likes to see people suffer and cause unnecessary pain.)

I nod. "Ok that sounds fine. I will bring Sugar and Ember here tomorrow." Sol's eyes widened. 

"¡No no no! ¡Ray, te matará! ¿Me escuchas? te destrozará delante de todos. Por favor Ray. Esta es una vida o muerte."

( No no no! Ray, he'll kill you! Can you hear me? He will destroy you in front of everyone. Please Ray. This is a life or death.)

I sigh. "I know. Let me handle it." I pretend to tie my boot. When I see a moment out of the corner of my eye. Oh dear, Percy and Ava? Teaming up? Because of Sugar?

"Correr. Yo me encargaré de este lío."

(Run. I'll take care of this mess.)

i whisper to her. She nods and dashes ahead. I know I will never see this poor girl again. 

"¡Muéstrate a ti mismo para un humano maldito!"

(Show yourself damn human!)

Percy steps forward. 

"Hola Ray. Un placer verte otra vez. mucho tiempo sin verlo."

 (Hello Ray. It's a pleasure seeing you again. long time no see.)

I laugh.

Drawing my knife. Twirling it around in my hand. "Say Hola(Hello/Hi) to THIS Perra" I shout at him. Percy turns red with anger. "You will pay!" he says. I roll my eyes. And make a dash for him. Stabbing him hard in the arm. He screams in pain. I smile. "Hey Hey, your trip to the stars will be fast or slow. Your choice!" I smile cheerfully at him. Blood flows out of his arm and I smile again. "This Is War Percy!" The knife stabs Percy two more times. One in his arm wound again and another cleanly through his chest.

Percy lays dead on the ground. I reach down and grab some dirt. "Here!" I say happily to him, and toss the dirt and bugs onto his bleeding wounds. "May you be dead and never come back!"
