The galaxies are blessed to look into your windows,
Crystals of dark matter that toy with sun rays.
Earthly emeralds are no match for volcanic obsidian.
Malachite columns that adorn Petersburg churches,
Jade statues that embellish Shanghai temples,
Cannot compete with your jet marbles.
The color of bitter olives and the sweetest of berries,
Resembling cursed diamonds,
Sharp enough to scratch glass,
Oh, how I long to bleed.
Jewels of the night,
Poison of the widow,
A vacuum of light,
Liquid tar to drown in.
Pierce me with a sight ravens envy,
Take this colored picture,
Show me my new favorite shade.
