Surprisingly, today was a very warm weather. There was no sun, but you could feel the heavy air building up inside your lungs. Though inside the classroom, the air was colder. The faience walls were surely fighting the heat very well. The clouds were all wandering around on the sky, blocking the sunlight. It snowed all night yesterday, and thought the white cover was all around the city, the weather was pretty warm.
Today, everyone had to carry out a project for biology class. This project was quite important for their grades, so no one dared to miss this class, except Viktor. Seiy's gaze fell on his empty chair, which was next to her. Surely Viktor knew about the project, because she reminded him, besides, even he wouldn't be that crazy to skip today's biology class. Something is off and Seiy knows that. Suddenly, a girl showed up next to the hero. Her hand begun wandering through her sandy hair, as she lowered her vision. She smiled and then said:
'Hey, can I sit next to you this class?'
As she was about to answer she realised that girl is Berry. Seiy remembers her from her first month of college. They used to be benchmates, but since they have no common classes anymore, they didn't have any time to talk. It was a surprise to see her friend after a long time, so she was obviously excited.
'Berry, it's so nice to see you again! It has been a while. Come, sit down!' She smiled at her friend.
As soon as Berry sat down and arranged her notebooks, they started talking about different things before the class started. It was nice talking to your friend after such a long time. They obviously didn't have time to touch all of the subject they had in mind because soon enough class started.
The teacher entered the classroom and everyone got up to greet them. It is a sign of respect, they all say. Biology class is usually boring, but they sometimes do some experiments that are fun. Today was one of the days where they sit in class and write until their hands fall off. The teacher got hold of a piece of chalk and started writing with it. She totally forgot about the projects. Lucky Viktor. Seiy picked up her pen and started writing at the same time with the teacher. The chalk made annoying sounds on the board as particles of dust flew around the classrom. The clock ticked every second. The sound of people that were talking was getting louder and understanding them was hard. Seiy's vision started blurring and she was confused. The clack of the timer was the only thing she could hear clearly. Her pen fell down because her hands were shacking uncontrollably and her heartbeat accelerated. The sounds were overwhelming. Everything was too much. Stop it. Her breathing got heavier and Berry noticed. Suddenly her phone light up. It was a message from Dr. Charles, but she wasn't able to read it. She tried getting up, but things around her started spinning. The clock was ticking again. Tick Tack. Tick. And she passed out. Tack.
. . .
Just a minute passed and Seiy opened her eyes. She was still in class, but Berry was sitting next to her, on the floor, looking really worried. Everyone seemed surprised. This never happened to Seiy before and it was very weird. Her hands were still shacking, but she was seeing and hearing. She tried getting up as Berry hurried to help her out.
'Are you alright, Seiy?'
She was trying to make sense of Berry's words but she only understood after a few seconds. She accepted her friend's help and sat down on her chair while nodding her head as an answer to the inquired question. The teacher looked a bit bored and didn't care much.
'If you are feeling sick, go to the bathroom and calm down there' she rolled her eyes.
Seiy nodded her head again and got up to head to the bathroom. Her friend offered to help her get there incase something would happen but she refused. She stepped outside and left the whispers of her classmates behind the door.
