Everyone at the guild base was panicking and crying. Ada was the only one who remained calm. The guild president had been murdered. Some were trying to calm down, some passed out of fear and some were trying to contact police, but Ada told them it's better not to involve the authorities. Riri was standing besides them, listening to every order they gave. She then stared in horror at the body of her past guild president. They were stabbed in the stomach with a dagger. The dagger belonged to Gyutaro. That was the reason for everybody's shock. Why would they kill Dr. Charles? Weren't they what friends? At first Ada stared in disbelief, but then they picked up themselves and tried their best to guide the other members.
'Ada, how did Gyutaro kill Dr. Charles if he was back in his town with Seiy?'
They didn't dare to look anybody in the eyes. They knew Gyutaro did this. The feeling of betrayal was washing up her thoughts one by one. They understood what Riri meant. Wouldn't Seiy also be in danger if she was with the killer?
'Pick up your phone and call her. Let her know everything and tell her to come back as soon as possible.' They turned their back to Riri and started speaking to the other fighters of the guild.
Everybody was revolted at Gyutaro's actions. The girl didn't know what to think, but one thing was sure for her. Dr. Charles wasn't killed by their best friend. This could never happen. Fast enough, ignoring the nervous people that were crawling around the room, Riri pulled out her phone and began texting Seiy about what happened. Her fingers were also denying the truth, struggling to tell the other girl that apparently the chief of the guild got murdered by their best friend. She wouldn't believe it, but sent the message anyways. They need Spiderman to get back as soon as possible. Watching everyone panicking made her feel stressed. Seeing the dead body of her former chief made her feel stressed. The fact that everybody was blaming Gyutaro made her feel mad. She checked her phone and noticed that Spiderman didn't receive the messages. She glanced at Ada and hurried to them.
'Ada, I think something happened to Seiy. She isn't getting my messages.'
The other hero took a deep breathe, which they didn't exhale. Others heard what they were talking about and soon they all started saying that she got murdered just like their former guild president. Clueless people.
'Tell them all to go home and calm down. You should take my advice as well. We'll talk tomorrow.'
Riri wanted to say something, but Ada turned around and retreated in the elevator. They turned around to watch themselves in the mirror, just as everybody does when in an elevator. The guilt was unavoidable for them. Something was suffocating them to the point where they ran outside as soon as they got to the main entrance. Time passed since Spiderman left in Gyutaro's town. The weather got warmer and the air was hard to breathe due to the high temperature. Ada closed their eyes and started moving. They knew exactly where to go. Though it was night, their feelings were guiding them to the right place. They were guiding them to the right people, which weren't exactly in the right side. In a small alley, Charles and Gyutaro were sitting and waiting impatiently for their return. They both raised their heads and greeted their friend.
'I guess we're bringing the gang back together.' Charles said.
Their sense of humour always comes at the wrong time, but they all giggled. Their faces were gloomy, and they all carried a trace of guilt in their hearts for lying to the other members. Ada took a deep breathe and glanced at Gyutaro:
'They all hate you.'
His only reaction was to sketch a smile. He was always the type to react calmly to anything and this is exactly why they chose him to frame Charles' death. Their plan was thought by no one else, but him.
'It's better like this. If they knew the truth, they would've tried to help us and end up putting themselves in danger.'he answered.
Charles didn't say anything. They were too overwhelmed to talk. They all know what they have to do now.
'What about Seiy? Won't she hurry to get back here when she wakes up and remember what you have done? She isn't stupid to believe what the others will tell her.'
'I know she won't want to hear anything they would try telling her because I told her everything about our past before I poisoned her tea. This is why I asked the creature of the Forrest for a favour.' He answered a bit aggressively.
Charles frowned a bit and turned their back to their friends.
'Our only worry now is Koko.' They managed to say with a shacking voice.
Their friends nodded. If they could, they would follow them to the end of the world. Their friendship is unbreakable. Now they have to use the power of friendship to kill the only person they would do anything to keep alive. None of them actually hate Koko, but they have to end this here. Here and now.
