Friendship

She was staring at the ceiling in silence. She woke up a few minutes ago, but something kept her from moving. She felt a soft bed under her. An old feeling of loneliness was stabbing her heart and she felt it ache. She squeezed her eyes and tried to get up just as something grabbed her arm and she thought it was her senior, but surprisingly it wasn't him. The girl's white hair was hurting Seiy's eyes due to its brightness, but she kept staring at her in disbelief. Her black pit eyes were worryingly examining the other's condition, as if they had been friends for over a decade.

'Where's Gyutaro? Why are you here? What happened?' Her shacking voice managed to spit out some words.

The youngster smiled gently at her and sat down in front of her. She knew what she had to do. Her mind remembers exactly what the owner of the house asked her to do. Tell her the truth.

"Your friend is also my friend. I'm worried for him too, this is why I'm here.' She took a pause, just as she always does when talking. 'They asked me to tell you the truth when you wake up, because they knew you wouldn't believe if they lied to you.'

Seiy stared at her with a confused expression. She started to say something but got interrupted by the girl:

'Let me finish talking and then you decide what you want to do.' Her eyes looked a bit sad when saying this. 'I'm guessing you know the story about Koko. Due to the fact that you got attacked by one of his subordinates, Charles got worried and realised their friend is making a comeback for revenge.' It was weird for Seiy to hear someone call her chief by their name, again. 'They decided to make a plan to defeat him before he makes any more moves. In order not to get any of you in danger, they faked Charles' death and let everybody know that this was Gyutaro's doing. A risky plan, but they didn't want to get anybody involved and I think you can guess why your friend poisoned your tea.'

This didn't came as a shock to Seiy, but it was definitely a bit too much to handle for now. Everything happened so sudden, she needed time to understand everything better, but they had no time. A thought popped in her mind and her sparkly eyes began stabbing the room like a sharp dagger that hadn't been used in a while. The creature placed her hand on Seiy's shoulder and tried to shake her a bit to get her back to reality.

'If you want to do anything, you have to decide now. We might not have any time left to help them out if you spend a day thinking.' She sounded a bit harsh, but this was an emergency.

What was her relationship with Gyutaro? Why was she here? Why is she trusting everything this thing is saying when she doesn't even know it's name?

'You have to explain me who are you and what's your relationship with my guild on the way there.' Her tone was firm and it would make anybody think that her orders were mandatory, but the creature just smiled and nodded.

'Let's take my portal in the forest, it's faster!'

                                                   .               .                .

The three of them parted ways in order to enter the creepy place. It was Charles' idea to restrain the villain that attacked one of their guild members and interrogate him. Their torturing methods were good enough to make him tell them some things. The only thing that they don't know is that Koko can control the minds of his creations. Dangerous, isn't it? Charles knows. They're the only one that knows and feels a bit guilty for dragging their friends here without letting them know that they were going in a trap. According to their plan, only themselves will die. The life of their friends wasn't something they wanted to gamble with, so they'll make sure their plan works out. They will finally be able to end this war between old friends. It's crazy how the villain used to be Charles' friend. Sometimes they all used to say they're all best friends and even siblings because they always wander the world in their small group of 4. Sometimes they joked around that they're soulmates. Now they will die together as best friends, siblings and soulmates.

'Here I come, brother.' They whispered.

The plan was that Ada would climb the wall and enter the mansion by the roof, so that they'll avoid any traps. Their role was to infiltrate and kill every monster ever created before they get to do anything. Gyutaro will get inside by underground and disarm every trap that was built. At the end, Charles will enter by the front door and greet their old friend with a fight. A good plan, but it was only good enough to keep their friends alive.

Charles threw a sword in the air and caught it. The signal is off and his friends now started moving.

                                                   .                 .               .

Everything is clear to Seiy now. The creature met Gyutaro when they first moved here and became friends soon enough. The girl guided her friend and showed her around town, telling them everything about it and the Forrest. She then told them that it's best if they build a house next to it, because it emanates a calm atmosphere and it would gratify her mostly if she had a friend to talk to more often.

'They told me about the guild and their friends, mentioning that he was afraid of the day Koko will come back to take revenge. They said Charles will definitely want to stop them even if it means risking their own life, so they tricked them into thinking you're here safely and asleep. Their plan was that the great Spiderman helps them fight their old friend. Gyutaro really believes in you.' She said while they were hurrying to the centre of the woods.

Seiy didn't speak this whole time, as she was listening attentively to what the young one was saying. The fact that Gyutaro had planned all this behind their friends back was unexpected, but welcomed. She wanted to help and she will. Spiderman will save them all, just like she always will.

'You never told me what's your name. And what are you.'

The girl smiled and looked at her for a few seconds, then glanced at their surroundings.

'I'm Xie. My name is Xie. I'm just a normal human like you all, but with an unusual power.'

Seiy finally got to know her name. The first time they met was 2 weeks ago and she found out just now. She wanted to ask more, but her feelings told her not to push it. They were passing by the big trees with a ridiculous speed, not caring if they hurt the leaves or the branches themselves. Their steps were carelessly stepping over the flowers that used to be cute, but now dead.

'You're probably wondering why am I living in a Forrest if I'm human, but it's not that much of a deal. I came here around the time when Gyutaro also arrived, so I only got to live here for a few weeks. Then I would come often to spend time with them, but before that, I would walk around the town all day and talk with everyone. I noticed after some time that there was something different at these people, and whenever I walked inside the Forrest, I would feel at peace, so I just thought that maybe it has a smilies power to mine. To heal one's soul of hatred and replace it with serenity' That's all she was going to tell her for now.

When they finally arrived in the centre, thanks to Xie's knowledge of the woods, she noticed a dense atmosphere. The girl grabbed her hand and showed her to follow. They stepped forward, slowly as they were careful not to walk into an invisible tree.

'The portal is invisible but it's in front of us. I'm going to think of Gyutaro and it will teleport me to them. Hold my hand tight so we will end up in the same place.'

The hero nodded and prepared her senses of fighting. It's showtime.
