The sound of the rain plummeting on the rooftop was getting to her nerves. She couldn't hear if the villain was near her and that's frightful. Though the water did clean some of her wounds, which she got not long ago because of the fight. It was dark outside and probably everybody was sleeping in the flat they were fighting on. This one is powerful. Today out of all days, Seiy doesn't believe she can win this fight. At least not in this state.
His steps were louder than the drops of rain. But how? How did he know where she was? She was hidden behind a wall. His voice was so firm when he said:
'You can't hide forever and you know that, so called Spiderman,' he screamed.
She looked to her left just to see that the moon's brightness was falling on the rooftop, which means that her shadow was visible. There's no end to it, is there? She grabbed her little dagger and jumped straight to him. The man dodged her attacks easily and then hit her neck. She was now at his mercy, layed on the floor. She looked up to see his blonde and thin hair clinging to his face. Red eyes. That's what caught her attention. She knows exactly who he is but is afraid of accepting it. His face didn't betray his thoughts. He was showing no emotion, but she could see light flickering in his eyes out of happiness. Excitement.
'Well, well, well. Looks like I finally caught the famous superhero,' he then paused to look around. His steps were no longer firm. Carelessly moving here and there, Seiy figured he had something to say. Something he was looking forward to. 'Now, you know where this is going, don't you? You're a smart fella if you survived so long against my attacks,' he smirked.
She grabbed her hand and held on tight in order to stop the bleeding. He was right though. No other human being would survive with these many wounds. Her only saving was that she heals fast and most of her wounds are somehow gone. Oh, but they were many. Koko doesn't play. That's right she knows who he is. Dr. Charles' arch enemy. The one that was haunting her for weeks just to be able to get to his enemy. Why was she put in the middle of their argument? Funny. That's usually what happens to kids when two adults are fighting. But she's everything but a kid, isn't she? She looked up to the sky and closed her eyes, breathing heavily. Her wet curls were sitting on her face, next to the big scar Koko gave her.
'I'm not going to let you go, my dear Seiy.'
She froze. How did he know her name? He only saw her in her hero form. She doesn't even remember how she got on the roof. Strange, isn't it? He now stopped walking around and his gaze fell over her.
'But it would be such a pity to kill you now,' he sighed. 'I still need you', he sang soflty, emphasizing the last word.
All this time she dared say nothing. She was feeling, what was it called? Afraid? No. Funny word. Challanged? No, it was something else. Pull yourself up, Spiderman. The game is on. She felt excited. Giggling with the dagger still in her hands, she got up faster than ever and launched straight to Koko, yet again...
. . .
'You know, when I decided to bring you with me, I thought you would like to visit the surroundings, not sleep on the sand,' she heard someone say.
Brown clouds drifted across the reddish sky, which seemed to be seething with nerves. The golden sand was digging into Seiy's sneakers like thugs. The water was lapping and the waves threatened to crash over the girl, but stopped just a few feet in front of her, crashing onto the warm sand. Nature was gloomy today, and playful at the same time. It was warmer in The Gladiator's city. Seiy was laying on the sand, staring terrified at the sky. It was just a dream. She never fought Koko.
