Strange. What is strange? Life is like a book. It starts sorrowful, but as you turn the page over and over again, you tend to notice how it gets better. You read it carefully, excited to find out what happens next. A good book is the one that keeps u alert. A good book is the one that keeps u awake at night. But is it a good life if it keeps u awake when the shadows penetrate your room? Is it good if you live in fear that a villain might try to kill you anytime? Well, it's only a matter of time until he'll be caught. For now, Seiy just has to hold on.
Today, Seiy had plans. She has decided yesterday, that it would be a good idea to text Berry that she's free to hang out with her, so there she is now, preparing to head outside. It was 11:30pm and the sun cast a luminescent glow, depriving of vision anyone that dared to stare at it for too long. The sad part is that there is still snow on the ground along with some snowmen. The clouds surrendered and allowed the sapphire coloured sky to breathe. Obviously, as soon as the clement weather arrived, the birds began wandering on the horizon, dancing around and singing along with the sound of the acquistive wind. It's such a relaxing feeling to be woke up by the joyful birds in the dawn.
With drowsy eyes, Seiy was making her way through the house, trying to hurry as much as possible since they had to meet up at 3pm. Her living room was about normal size, she didn't have many decorations, but the present ones were simple and elegant. Seiy didn't have any business here, so she ran to pick some clothes from her wardrobe. Her bedroom looked really full, since the fawn wardrobe is on the right side of the door and her bed, covered by a blue blanket, is besides the window. She stooped down and started digging through the clump of clothes from her closet, in order to find the shirt she was searching, but right then, she felt something jump on her back. It was her kitty that didn't know she was hurrying and also probably didn't care. It layed with all four legs tucked under her body and resembled a home-baked loaf of bread. Seiy couldn't move anymore because of her silly cat. What a surprise. Sadly, she didn't have time for her.
"Not now, Hanoonah" she laughed then took it off her. "I promise I'll stay with you when I get back, it won't take me a long time."
The cat's response was to meow loudly and then run away to hide under the bed. Seiy sighed and turned back to the closet in order to choose her outfit for today. Casual. She wore a black hoodie that matched the colour of her shoulder bag. Dark curls fell over Seiy's face, masking her sienna eyes. What an innocent girl. Nobody would even guess who she is. They don't know and they will never know.
She couldn't really leave her poor cat sad before she left, so she head to the bed and kneeled down in front of it in order to find Hanoonah. It would break Seiy's heart to leave her kitty alone knowing she's sad.
"My love, come out. I am entirely sorry for how I acted with you earlier and I promise you it will never happen again," she said.
Whatever it understood didn't matter. As soon as it heard Seiy's voice it ran from under the bed, with its tiny legs, straight into her arms. What a bipolar cat. Its black fur made it look entirely masjetic. It's eye colour reminded Seiy of the hot chocolate. The entire cat looked like a chocolate. It meowed really loud, like it was scolding Seiy for what she has done. She immediately understood it's reactions and started petting her as she was giggling. Great to know she was forgiven by her little cat.
"Thank you for your kindness. I promise it shall never happen again."
After as she finished comforting it and made sure everything's fine, she left the house with no other word and hurried to meet with Berry.
. . .
Aforetime, but not long ago, everybody was normal. What does that word mean? Normal in a way where nobody knew about magic, where there weren't villains and where nobody lived in agony. The good old days were a blessing to everyone, but now, they're forever gone. Who doesn't know about magic? Actually, the question is who actually believes in it? It's quite hard to believe something is true when not everyone owns it. The explanation to why not every soul believes in it is simple. Some creatures are born with the capability to use magic and some just can't handle its calamitous presence. It is neither luck, neither a curse, you don't have the power to choose how you want to be. So, live on with what you have, just like Seiy is doing. She wasn't born with magic, but the way she got ahold of it is quite insane. Quite atypical...
