Katsuki had stayed true to his word, forcing me to go shower after a few minutes of cuddling. I pulled his pants back on over my clean underwear after drying myself off, quickly buttoning my plaid shirt over my bare chest and wandering out of the bathroom. Katsuki looked up from his phone on the couch, smiling gently at me.

"Much better." He huffed. "It's almost eight-PM, you ready to sleep?"

I scoffed. "At eight? I'm not a child."

Katsuki got up onto his knees, leaning over the back of the couch. "Oi, eight-PM is a perfectly respectable bedtime."

"Uh huh." I teased, walking up to where he leant over the couch. On his knees, he was a fair bit shorter than me, his head in line with my chest.

The blonde prodded my stomach. "Don't get smart with me, rock boy."

I assumed he was alluding to the collection of crystals he'd seen in my apartment earlier that day. "Is that my new nickname?"

"Nah." He huffed. "It's on the list, though."

"Right."

There was a moment of silence between us - though it didn't feel uncomfortable. It was the kind of silence that didn't demand to be broken, just existing peacefully. Eventually though, Katsuki huffed back down onto the couch, flicking through the TV channels. I hopped over and sat beside him, giving him just enough space that if he wanted to be closer, he could, but not forcing it. I still wasn't sure where I stood with him.

"You're staring." He grunted, crimson eyes darting to glance at me. "You want something?"

Oh, I want a whole lot of something, I thought as I visually devoured the blonde. He'd removed his hoodie, leaving just his tank top and pants. I could see every shift of his defined arms, and a sliver of his angular collarbones. I was resisting the urge to dive on him then and there, considering we hadn't really spoken about intimacy yet. Also, even given the fact that I knew I was gay, I had no frame of reference for what gay sex actually entailed. I made a mental note to do some research at home.

"Dumbass." Katsuki laughed. "You're still fucking staring."

"Just enjoying the view." I teased. Dumb. That was dumb. Why the fuck did I say that?

"Oh, is that so?" Katsuki shot back, cocking one eyebrow.

"Never mind." I choked.

"No," Katsuki argued, putting down the TV remote and lounging back into the corner of the couch. "Tell me. What do you like about the view?"

"Uh..."

The blonde's brow furrowed, his cheek sucking in as he bit the inside of his mouth. "You're being weird. What is it?"

I'd felt so comfortable with him that I'd started flirting without even realising. I knew I had to broach the subject with him at some point - my inexperience - but I'd hoped I could have at least gotten a few more dates out of the way first.

"You're freaking out again." He mumbled, shifting his legs so they laid flat on the couch. He patted his lap gently. "Come here."

"N-no-"

"Don't argue, dumbass. I just wanna calm you down."

That's not gonna calm me down...

I obliged, feeling like I didn't have much of a choice in the matter, and nervously climbed onto Katsuki's lap. My legs straddled either side of his body as I looked down at him. His arms were folded, but his posture was open.
