"So..." I asked gently from the comfort of the deck chair, shading my eyes from the midday sun. After seeing off the others, we'd headed out to the beach to relax for a while. "What's the plan?"
The blonde gave me a look over the rims of his sunglasses. "Secret."
I huffed gently, rolling onto my side to get a better view of my companion. His body was positioned directly in the oncoming sun, his profile golden in the dazzling light. I could see his eyes dart to the side to look at me under his shades, amusement twinkling in the crimson irises.
"Don't you trust me yet?" He probed, shifting to raise one knee on the chair. "Have I ever disappointed?"
I shook my head, curling my arms up to my chest. I felt the hot rays of the sun beat down on my bare forearms and legs, pricking slightly against my old burn scars. I shifted upwards in the chair, tucking myself into the shade of the parasol. The blonde looked over at me, pushing his shades up into his tousled golden mane.
He narrowed his eyes at my coiled posture. "Sun too hot?"
I gave a quick shake of my head, my hair dancing around my cheeks. "My scars - have to keep them out of the sun."
The blonde quickly sat upright, jaw hardening slightly. "Why didn't you say something?"
Before I could respond, the paramedic tugged me off the deck chair towards the house, quickly closing the screen door behind us. He pushed his hands into the pockets of his board shorts and huffed his way towards the kitchen, reappearing with the same bottle of spray sun-screen from our trip to the activity park.
He thrust it into my hands with a dark look. "Put it on. Don't want you complaining later."
I gave him a sheepish nod as I sat on the wood flooring, rubbing a thin coating of the liquid onto all of my exposed skin. By the time I'd finished, he'd made his way up to the master bedroom and back, returning with both of our phones and wallets. He tossed mine onto the couch.
"You feel up to going somewhere?"

We arrived outside a nondescript building around two-PM. There was no signage on the large wooden door, but people were milling in and out at intervals, indicating it was a public building. We'd grabbed iced coffees on the way, both sipping as we approached the doorway.
"What is it?" I asked softly as the blonde opened the door, letting me inside first.
"You'll see." He huffed.
We entered into a small ticket hall, brimming with posters. It appeared to be some kind of museum, with signs for different exhibits and tours posted on every free inch of wall. Katsuki quickly approached the desk, with me trailing behind, and began talking quietly to the staff member.
My eyes quickly found a poster that interested me. It was advertising some kind of touring exhibit, displaying images of large gemstones and mineral deposits. I noticed a few that I recognised, but most were new to me.
The blonde turned back to me with our tickets, smirking when he followed my gaze to the poster. His eyes were warm when he said, "Let's go."
I felt his fingers brush mine as our hands connected, my companion dragging me towards one of the open doorways. We passed several exhibits - I stopped once or twice to check out some historical artefacts - but it was obvious the blonde was taking me somewhere specific. We eventually arrived at the front of a queue, where a staff member checked our tickets and asked us to wait a few moments for the room to clear. I glanced around for some indication of what I would see inside the room, but the door was unmarked.
