That morning after my birthday was the last day I properly spoke to Draco within the last few weeks. It's now a week before Christmas break starts.

I usually only see him once or twice a week, if I'm lucky. I'm guessing it's something got to do with his Father, so I just stay out of it. I try to get his attention in the corridors or the common room before he heads to his dorm, but the floor is more amusing to him.

His face has sunken in from not eating, his hair was almost always messy, the dark bags under his eyes were almost the same colour as his grey eyes.

Even though he has his issues going on, I'll always be here for when he needs me, whenever that will be.

"Do you want to go shopping for dresses?" Rae asked, putting on her jacket.
"Yeah sure", I replied, putting on my shoes.

"Come on, let's go then", as she took my hand and apparated us.

We ended up in a dark, gloomy, damp alley way. "This way", She waved her hand to me.
I looked around disgusted and scrunched my nose at the smell but followed her anyways.

"What kind of dress are you looking for?" She looked through rails of dresses.
"I'm not sure.. definitely white or a baby blue!".

"Aw I was going to do blue!" She groaned, jutting out her lip sulking, "Okay fine I'll do white", I laughed holding up my hands.

We went into almost all of the shops in the shopping centre, no luck.

"Come on, last one", Rae grabbed my hand, pulling me with her. "My feet hurt!" I moaned, barely lifting them off the floor.

This shop was filled with all types of dresses. All going in rainbow colour and from short to long, it made it easy for us to look at the gowns, I looked at the white, Rae looked at the blue.

"What dya think?" She held out a dress infront of me, striking a pose. "Definitely not!" I laughed. She scoffed.

"This one?" She held out another, I looked at her for a few seconds, trying to picture it on her, "Definitely! Go try it on", I smiled and she rushed to the back of the store to the changing rooms.

I picked up a few white dresses myself, making my way to the dressing rooms. I sat outside her changing room, waiting for her. "Just come out!" I scoffed.

She pulled the curtain back, my mouth dropped. "You're like an ice princess", I let out. She did a little twirl infront the mirror, "It's very pretty", she waved the bottom of her dress around. It was a soft baby blue colour, with spaghetti straps, lace from head to toe with diamonds, it hugged her in all the right places unless it flowed out passed her knees. "You're so pretty Rae!"

"Okay go put your first dress on while I get out of mine!" She pushed me into the room beside her.

"Come on out Lay!" I heard from behind the curtain, "Do I have to? I look stupid", rolling my eyes. "Just come on how bad can it be?" She laughed. I yanked the curtain back and almost dripped over my dress trying to get out. "It's.. uh.. very big", She tried holding in a laugh. "I mean it's pretty! It's just.. not for me, I look like a marshmallow." Throwing my hands up and walking back to try on a different dress.

"You're very quite, everything okay?"

"I'm in love Rae."

"Show me show me show me!!" I heard her clap her hands.

I slowly walked out of the room, her eyes wide and a smile ear to ear on her face. "Yes", was all she could say.

"This is it."
