Your POV:

Still on top of him, you just whispered "Thank you," with your arms still around his neck. He pulled you back searching your face before asking, "Is something wrong?"

"I'm fine. I felt a bit uneasy and scared earlier so I came home. I can't explain what it was. Someone bumped into me, and my body felt cold. I also didn't expect the wine to make me fall asleep & I didn't want to alarm you at work when it happened. When I'm with you I feel safe, internalising all of that, I just wanted to feel the blanket of your safety in your arms tonight. Riding you was the perfect way to achieve both," you responded, planting a kiss on his lips.

"Let's get cleaned up. I'm hungry now," as you got off of him and made way to the shower first.

His POV;

Watching as you disappeared through the hall, he stood up, ensuring the sofa was clean, before making his way to the bedroom to ditch his dirty clothes. He sat on the bed processing what you said earlier on the sofa and was already working on a solution, he hoped you may not have any objection to.

Walking over to his nightstand, he was checking his calendar. When he felt your hands around him. "Is everything ok?" you asked muffled behind his back. Turning to face you, he sat on the bed again pulling you to stand in front of him. Looking at you he, sensing you were a bit confused he said, "Will you be okay, if I got you a security detail & a driver? Before you answer, I'd like you to consider it first and we can have it sorted on Monday.

"The next few weeks will be hectic and your position on our team in particular is of value. The guys have suggested it a long time now and with what you said earlier, I think it's time."

Sensing you were already about to protest it, he stood up and kissed your forehead, before heading off to the shower.

Your POV;

Having changed, your were famished and trailed off into the kitchen to make some sandwiches. Deciding not to complicate a meal this late, you figured a few stuffed grilled cheese were the way to go and got right to it. Turning on the speakers, you hummed and danced along to your favourite playlist.

His POV;

After getting changed, he scribbled into his calendar again:

• Speak with HR

• Call his lawyers

• Talk with security team

Closing the calendar, he walked over to his office to use the computer in order to book the reservation. If all else fails, he'll put in a personal call.

Heading to the kitchen, he could hear the music playing and something sizzling. Choosing to not interrupt your fun, he sat on the sofa & picked up his phone to see a message from an unknown number saying, "She's prettier in person." Feeling an instant urge of panic, his thoughts were interrupted as you beckoned him to come eat.

The late meal was an enjoyable one & you both cleaned up after and went off to bed. He continued to fidget as he watched you doze off in no time. He couldn't sleep. The text was haunting him & he already knew who it was. Looking at you again, he wanted to put those thoughts behind so pulled you in closer drifting off to sleep.

🔷🔷Jumping to Sunday evening before dinner🔷🔷

Your POV;

Already dressed, you stopped Namjoon to help adjust his tie before walking into the elevator. You were pleasantly surprised when Namjoon said he booked an evening out. It's been a while since you both had a night out, that didn't include professional duties.

Stepping out onto the rooftop terrace, the scenery was just beautiful. You noted the security team, doing their best to blend in, and you were both greeted & guided to a private space on the terrace. The night felt perfect & you didn't even have dessert yet.

Namjoon ushered you into your seat, and within minutes the waiter came and offered wine, whilst giving you the menus.

His POV;

The orders were placed and he was enjoying the night, ambiance, company and food. You both talked about so many things, as you reminisced on the past and what the future may hold. "Did you give thought to my question from last night?" as he looked at you over a raised glass.

"I won't act like I don't see that security has been doubled tonight. The promotion schedule hasn't started yet, so I don't see the need. Obviously there's something happening & I don't need to know the details. I trust your judgement, so I'll agree to your request.." he listened as you responded.

Happy that you agreed, he reached over and kissed your hands over the table.

"Thank you milady," he said as you couldn't hold back letting laughter fill the atmosphere.

After dinner, you both took a late night stroll along the river. Stopping for a minute to bask in the chill breeze & moonlight, he stood admiring the way your curls fell along your shoulders with the slightest shimmer of your dress, lighting up the space between you two.

He was in love. Had it not have been for Hoseok, he don't know if you guys would've been here today. This was a perfect way to wrap up the weekend & he couldn't wait to be home & get you out of that dress.
