WILLIAM's PATIENCE had worn thin. He was tired of the constant pursuit by a certain individual wearing thick-tinted glasses and a cap, a relentless student who seemed adamant about getting his phone number. The encounters had become a recurrent theme since the beginning of the first semester, and William couldn't help but marvel at the audacity and determination of his pursuer.

William managed to slip out of Vin Jin's grasp, his knees bending as he slid down the wall of the bathroom. However, his escape was short-lived, as Vin Jin swiftly seized him by the collar of his blazer, pinning him against the unforgiving surface once more. The impact sent a jolt of pain through William's back, but he refused to show any weakness.

With a mix of annoyance and defiance in his eyes, William locked his gaze with Vin Jin's obscured eyes behind the tinted glasses. He felt a surge of anger welling up within him, but he knew better than to let it consume him completely. Tightening his grip on Vin Jin's wrist, he mustered the strength to respond.

"You think you can corner me like this and force me to give you my number?" William's voice dripped with defiance, his words laced with a hint of sarcasm. "Well, congratulations. You persistent attitude amused me so I'll humour you as a reward, But only on one condition, remove your hands from me."

The tension in the air was palpable as the two young men locked eyes. Vin Jin's arrogance increased after what William said. He silently bask in the satisfaction of finally getting William's number. The elusive Prince Charming of the school had finally relented. He released his grip on William, leaving the dishevelled state of his uniform, which had irk him.

A thin line formed on William's lips as he straightened his uniform, regaining a semblance of composure. He extended his hand towards Vin Jin, "Give me your phone," he grudgingly conceded. Vin Jin's lips curled into a mischievous grin as he accepted the offered number, a glimmer of triumph dancing in his eyes behind the lens.

Handing his phone over to William, Vin Jin couldn't help but steal glances at the captivating features of the young man before him. His gaze lingered on William's flawless complexion, marvelling at the absence of any imperfections. Questions swirled in Vin Jin's mind, wondering how someone could possess such flawless skin. The sight of William's long, thick lashes, akin to delicate butterfly wings, and his smooth jet-black hair cascading gracefully over his face only intensified Vin Jin's curiosity. His attention glided to William's high-bridged nose, a feature many would envy, and his soft and pink, inviting lips, which sent a shiver of nervous excitement through Vin Jin's body.

As William finished typing his number, Vin Jin quickly averted his gaze, feeling his ears burn with embarrassment. He took the phone back, his smugness undeterred. "Here," William said, his voice laced with suppressed irritation as he handed the phone over. Vin Jin couldn't resist the temptation to test the authenticity of the number, deciding to call William right then and there. The sound of the ringing tone emanated from William's blazer pocket, filling the bathroom with its melodic chime.
