WITH A tired sigh, William approached the counter, his gaze falling upon the scene of Zack and his goons tormenting the beleaguered cashier. Empathy welled up within him, and a sense of responsibility tugged at his conscience. "I'll be paying for this," he announced to the cashier, placing the box of strawberry milk on the counter.

The chubby cashier, who had been subjected to the bullies' harassment, was struck with awe at the unexpected allure William possessed that magnetized his attention in an instant when he came into view. Adoration and disbelief flickered in his eyes, momentarily overshadowing the fear that had clouded them moments before.

As William stood there, he couldn't help but notice packs of cigarettes and alcohol displayed on the side of the counter. Disappointment creased his brow, his disappointment directed towards Zack. "Are you supposed to buy those but were unable to, Zack?" he questioned, his tone tinged with a mix of sarcasm and disappointment.

Zack's glare turned into a smirk, attempting to brush off William's remark. "Why would we buy those? We're minors, right, guys?" he said, casting a glance at his three goons, who snickered and nodded in agreement.

William stared at Zack, unamused by his response. A knowing smile played at his lips as he countered, revealing a secret he had witnessed in the past. "Really? Those are not yours? I thought you were the type to buy this kind of stuff," he retorted, his voice laced with a touch of mockery. "Like the time I caught you last semester at the back of the school smoking thrice with those three behind you." His smile widened, a subtle act of turning the tables on Zack's earlier insults.

Zack's fury simmered beneath the surface, his body tensing as his anger threatened to boil over. Veins pulsed on his forehead and jaw, a physical manifestation of his suppressed rage. The exposure had hit a nerve, and he seethed with the desire to strike out, to retaliate against the heir of the Kwon family. But he understood the consequences of such actions, recognizing the risk involved in harming someone of William's status. He clenched his fists tightly, his anger held in check.

"You should consider yourself lucky it was me who saw you, and not Mira," William declared, his voice steady and resolute. "I wonder what she would think if she was the one who saw you? I bet she would be disappointed." his voice remained devoid of emotion, his words calculated and deliberate. The mention of Mira, a figure of significance in Zack's lige, added another layer of tension to the already charged atmosphere. As William continued, his calm and welcoming expression betrayed the gravity of his words. He handed his money to the cashier, his actions punctuating the weight of his statement.

The mention of Mira, someone held in high regard by Zack, struck a chord. The thought of disappointing her loomed over Zack, casting a shadow on his anger. His features twisted momentarily, a flicker of vulnerability crossing his face before he quickly masked it with a defiant expression.

The cashier, felt a lump forming in his throat as he witnessed the thick and intense atmosphere between William and Zack. The air crackled with tension, and he couldn't help but be in awe of William's boldness. With a few well-placed words, William had managed to expose Zack's vulnerabilities, leaving him silenced and subdued.
