Beep, beep, beep...

The most annoying thing in the world to wake up to is an alarm.
I look at the clock, 7;15.
The bus leaves at 9, so I better get started, I hop in the shower, dry my hair, straighten my hair, put on my normal minimum make up, grey eye shadow with black eyeliner, a black T-shirt, jeans, and high tops.
I run down stairs, it's 8:30, and my parents are at the door, "Well, we have to get to the airport, honey," mom smiles sadly.
Dad looks at me, "We love you, try to have fun, ok?"
I nod, "Ok, love you guys too," I walk up to them and give them a hug, and say our goodbyes as they drive away.
I put on my leather jacket, and took my backpack, and 2 suitcases, and wait outside for the bus.
At exactly 9:03 a big yellow bus stopped at the front of my house, the nice bus driver man came and threw my suitcases in the back of the bus, and he said I could keep my backpack.
I walked on the bus, and sat towards the back, on the only seat that didn't have anybody sitting on it.
We only have to stop at the bus stop in the city not even 15 minutes from here, then we will go to the camp.
A brunette girl in the seat ahead of me turns around, "Hi, I'm Merissa, it's my fifth year here, how old are you?"
I smile at her, she reminds me of Tarren, "I'm Thalia, it's my first year, and I'm 17, what about you?"
"I'm 17," she smiles, she looks nervous, " sorry if I'm bothering you, I'm not really good at making new friends."
"You're not bothering me, I would love to be friends with you," I smile at her.
"Great," she says, "I think we could be great friends," we talk for a bit till we come to a stop.
There are a couple of boys standing outside waiting for the bus, "Great," Merissa says sarcastically, "It's the most popular guys at camp."
"What are their names?" I ask, still looking at them, one has a red plaid shirt, black hair, blue jeans, and a mesmerising smile that make me want to melt in my seat, looks over at me and smiles and winks right at me.

"Well, you see the one right there," she points at a blonde with a blue T-shirt, "That is Carter Macker, and that," she points to a boy with brown hair in a green T-shirt," That is Brody Cameron, and that," she points to the one who is still looking at me, "Is the most popular guy at camp, Christian Castel, and he is totally checking you out," she winks at me, and I role my eyes at her, "Oh, and, one more thing, Brody is my boyfriend," she says slightly blushing.

"And," says a girl behind me, "Carter is my boyfriend, but Christian is single, and I'm pretty sure I just saw him looking at you," the girl had black hair, and green eyes, "Oh, by the way, I'm Maya, maybe we can be friends, if you want to?"
"Sure, sounds like fun!"
"Great," says Merissa, "Three people per cabin, what do you say us three share."
"Sure," Maya and I say at the same time, we all start laughing.
"What's so funny?" I look up and see the blonde, I mean Carter, standing in front of Maya, "Hey beautiful," he smiles and gives her a kiss, Brody does the same to Merissa, so I'm just awkwardly sitting on my seat looking at my phone, until a figure sits beside me, I slowly look up the to see the last boy you would think, "Hey, I'm Christian Castel, do you mind if I sit here?"
"Sure," I say.
"So, you got a name?" He asks me.
"Ya, I do," I smile at him.
"Well, do I get the honour to know this beautiful mysterious girl's name?" He asks, is he flirting with me?
"Thalia," I say looking up at him, "My name is Thalia."
"A beautiful name for an even beautifuler girl," he smiles at me.
I just smile and role my eyes, "Is that even a word?"
"So..." he says, still looking at me, "Which cabin are staying in?
"Umm..." I look at Maya and Merissa for help.
"She staying with Merissa and I, in cabin 17," Maya said looking away from Carter.
"Really," Christian says, "Carter, Brody and I are staying in cabin 16," Christian says to me.
"Ya, the same one we have been using for 8 years," Brody mumbles under his breath.
"Oh," Merissa says like she just remembered something, "Happy Birthday Christian," everyone else said it.
When everyone quiets down I look at him and say, "Happy Birthday, how old are you?"

"I'm 18," he say, looking at me with this light in his eyes, "What about you, Blondie?"

"After all of that hard work to learn my name, you don't even use it," I tease, shaking my head, he just laughs and gives me the "Just Answer My Question" look, I roll my eyes, "I'm 17."

"So this how this summer's gonna be, huh, Blondie?" he emphasises "Blondie" just to bug me.

I just roll my eyes and look out the window, "Rejected," I hear Brody and Carter whisper at the same time.

"Shut up," Christian whispers.

I look at the boys, and then whisper, "Just because you whisper it, doesn't mean I can't hear it"

The girls laugh at my comeback and the boys just stare at me like no one has ever had a comeback against them before.

"Whatever," Christian says, but he's still smiling at me.

"You know," I say trying to bug him, "Saying 'whatever' means I win," I laugh.

He looks at his friends, "I think I'm gonna like this one, " He says nodding in approval, as if I just passed an initiation.

"We're hear," yells a girl in the front.

I look out the window to see horses, a lake, soccer fields, a beach volleyball net, and a basketball court, "There's more," Christian whispers in my ear, "I'd like to show you it later, if you want."

I nod and look at him, "Sure, thanks."

The buds parks and we all walk off to start our first day at camp.
