------------------------------------"How insane can you possibly be?" I question Brody as he tries to climb onto the roof of our cabins.
"Pretty darn stupid," Carter answers for him, even though him and Christian are the ones boosting him up.
The cabin door of my cabin slammed, "what the hell do you think you're doing?" Marissa shrieks.
"Just be carful," Maya calls shortly after.
"Maya," Marissa scolds her friend, "don't encourage his idiotic behaviour."
Carter looked at her and walked towards her as soon as Brody was on the roof, "if he falls, he'll still live."
Christian wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me.
I wonder if he knows how this makes me feel, how I get butterflies when he touches me, how electricity burns through my veins.
A crash and a yell of pain pulls me out of my thoughts.
"Brody," Marissa shrieks and runs toward the idiot laying on the ground, clutching his ankle.
She kneels next to him and whispers for a bit.
"I'm okay," Brody says looking at Marissa, than all of us, "really."
"Then walk."
It comes from Christian, who's standing behind me.
"What?" Brody asks.
"Then walk," Christians says a bit louder, "if it's broken, hockey season starts in 2 months, you'll have 6 weeks in a cast, you, me, and Carter are the first line, we need you."
"Fine," Brody spits, then runs his hands through his hair, "I'll walk."
Christian and Carter walk over and stand on either side of him.
They help him up then let go, almost as soon as he puts pressure on his foot, his knee buckles, Christian and Carter there to catch him.
"Let's get him to the infirmary," Christian says and he starts to lift Brody off the ground, taking half of his weight while Carter takes the other half.
Cater nods and starts to walk towards the infirmary.
When we get there, the nurse takes him in for an X-Ray, then comes out shortly after.
"He has definitely broken his ankle, he's getting a cast fitted right now."
"Is he ok?" Christian asks.
The nurse nods, "what about hockey season?" Carter asks.
"Well, his cast will be on for 6 weeks, and hockey season starts in like 8 weeks so he should be fine as long as he is fully recovered."
She looks at Marissa, "are you Marissa?"
She stands up and nods.
