We walk into the cafeteria and I swear all eyes are on us.

You'd think at 11 o'clock at night most people would be asleep.

I guess not, because I'm pretty sure most of the camp is hear, and they are staring at our group.

Well, not our group, just Christian and I in particular.

Cassidy walks in the cafeteria, and she meets my eyes, then she glances at Christian.

It must have taken her a moment to understand, but the look on her face when she realizes is sad.

I actually pity her when tears fill her eyes, and she stumbles out the door.

"Congratulations, Christian," says a voice from behind us, one that I don't recognize, "I told you, you would be the guy to brake her."

I turn around and meet the brown eyes of a guy that I don't recognize.

There is a girl standing shyly behind him, holding his hand.

"Hey man," Christian does one of those weird bro hug things, "you made it for the last 3 weeks."

"Of course," he smile, "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

The boy looks at the girl behind him, "oh, and this is Amber, my girlfriend, she's great," Amber shyly waves at us.

She is a very pretty girl, she has brown hair, brown eyes, and high cheek bones.

I wasn't gonna lie, she was gorgeous, there wasn't even words to explain it.

"Thalia, this is Cole, he has been going to this camp just as long as I have."

I nod at him and Amber, then look around the room.

My mind wonders to Cassidy, "I'll be right back," I say and walk out the door and onto the deck.

Cassidy is sitting on the porch swing with her head in her knees, her shoulders shaking as she cries.

"Hey," I say in a delicate voice and I walk towards her.

She raises her head, she opens her mouth to say something, most likely something mean, but all she does is sob.

I walk over to her, "push over," I demand, and she does what I say, "we have to talk."

   "Why?" She sobs.

"Why what?" I ask looking at the floor boards, then back up at her.

"Why did he pick you?" She screeches, but I knew she wasn't done, "why did you get back with him? Why does he love you and not me?"

"I don't know," I say truthfully, "I don't know the answer to any of those questions, but you have to understand that he chose me, and if he doesn't feel the way that you do, then he doesn't deserve you."

She looks at me with her puffy eyes, "you think so?"

"I know so," I say, standing up and walking away.

As I open the door, she speaks, "hey Thalia," I look over at her, "thanks, I may not be over him, but I'll try, I'll back off."

"Thanks," I say and walk inside.

A blast of warm air hits me, it's refreshing really, but the night getting colder means summer is getting shorter.

Christian and I haven't decided what's going to happen at the end of the summer, none of us really want to talk about it I guess.

I look at him, he's sitting with Maya, Marissa, Amber and the guys, he looks over at me, then smiles and beckons me over to go sit with him.

I walks over and put my head on his shoulder, he grabs my hand and rubs my knuckles.

Every time he does this I get butterflies.

"Aww," Marissa sighs, "I missed this."

"It was a week," clearly state.

Christian sighs dramatically, "longest week of my life."

"Drama queen," I bump my shoulder against his and he smiles me.

"I know," he says, pretending to look at his nails and that he cared about them and how they looked, "it's a gift."

"More like a curse," Brody laughs.

Carter high fives him as they laugh, Christian just roles him eyes and mumbles, "idiots."

I don't think they heard him because they didn't react.

They weren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.

"You know if a duck and a rooster were to, you know," Brody pushes his hands together, making a gesture, "would it make a quack-a-doodle-doo type noise or a cocka-quack."

"What kind of question was that?" Christian asks.

   "A good one," Brody defends.

"More like a stupid one," Carter laughs.

   "Shut up," Brody pouts.

"That right," Christian adds, "no one insults Brody but me."

"Right," Brody says confidently, then he must have realized what Christian had said because he glares at him, "hey!"

The boys laugh until   Cole stands up, "well we should get back to our cabin."

We exchange goodbyes with them then they walk out leaving Christian, Brody, Marissa, Maya, Carter and I the only ones left in the cafeteria.

The lights turn out and I realize that they must have closed and not realized we were in here.

"They must have closed, we should go," Maya says standing up.

Carter gets this mischievous look in his eyes, and he smirks, "or."

Christian must get the idea because they high five.

   "Or?" Brody asks.

"How stupid are you?" Christian asks.

"Kitchen raid." Carter says, like it was obvious.

Christian grabs my hand and drags my into the kitchen, "let's make ice cream sundaes," Marissa says grabbing the ice cream.

We grab all of the topping and sit down and eat the ice cream.

We are so lucky there aren't cameras in here otherwise we'd be screwed.

"Wow," Christian looks at his watch, "1:30 am, we should go."

We sneak back to the cabins and the girls say goodnight to their boyfriends, that just leaves Christian and I on the porch.

He leans in and gives me a slow, but passionate kiss on the lips.

He bits my lip and mumbles, "goodnight, love you."

"I love you too," I say wrapping my arms around his neck, he kisses me again but this time it's nothing but slow, but it's definitely passionate.

He grabs my legs and hoists my up, so he's basically carrying me, and presses my back against the wooden wall of the cabin.

"Goodnight," I say when we pull apart, I give him one last peck on the lips and walk inside my cabin.

My phone beeps a couple seconds later.

Ok, so there is another chapter.

The song of the chapter is Chalk Outline by Three Days Grace because I used that song in the last chapter, but another song was the song of the chapter.

   Well, it's late, so goodnight.
