Fix It Marriage

divorced?

He said goodbye to the manager and we left. He told me wait at the door while he was bringing his car. He opened the door to the passenger seat by leaning towards it.
As he was driving, I asked him again.
" Do you really want me to tell them that you are divorced?"
" Yes Nina . You would be free sooner ."
" But Aaron --"
" There is no but in this . Go home and tell them. "
I nodded. I didn't wish to.
" Do you have a girlfriend?"
He looked at me and then again focused back on driving.
" Come on tell me don't be shy. I won't tell anyone."
He totally ignored me.
" Fine don't tell me anything." I turned my face towards the window. My place arrived and he was about to get down.
" It's okay I will manage, may I see you never." I said with a hint of anger.
He gave up a small laugh and said,
" I hope your wish comes true."
He waited until I went inside and then he left. I had a very good time today . I decided to tell my parents about the divorce. After a long time I slept peacefully. Because of Aaron.

The next day I woke up with a hope that this will end.
I got freshened up and got downstairs for brunch.
" How did your date go?"
" It -- went well."
" We knew it, today we and his parents and going to see some wedding Venues."
" What , wait mom and dad, wait what are you doing?!"
" Why are you so panicked?!"
" Mom , dad, we can't get married."
" Why ?Nina don't start again --"
" He is divorced!"
Both of them were stunned to speak.
" Yeah, they didn't tell you this right? They hid it from us."
" He is what?? Are you serious?"
" Yes I am if you don't believe him, ask Aaron."
" This is insane."
" Yes that's why I think we should rethink this." I said.
" But he seemed really nice, I don't know what's wrong." My mother said.
" They lied to us . Cancel today Carol . We will think again ." My father demanded.
" Why did he lie to us! He should have mentioned this. Or atleast his parents."
" You are right."
" Why was he divorced Nina?"
" No I don't know that. I guess it was him only."
" It's so bad. I am letting her marry a liar."
" Wow " I whispered to myself.
" Let's just cancel today and think again."
" Yes ."
I was hiding my smile.

I rushed to my room, laughing and jumping.
I immediately called Aaron. God he never picks up his phone. Why does he even have one?! I don't get it. I also don't get him. What's so secretful about his girlfriend. He could tell me. I am a good secret keeper. Fine whatever, I am happy. That's what is important. I called Andrew to tell him this good news.
" Andrew!"
" Yes?"
" Let's meet today! I have some exciting news for you."
" Finally, yeah "
" Yes I will plan something, be ready."
" Sure."
" Everything is going to be fine now."
" I hope so."
" I love you."
" Love you too." He said and ended the call.

I got so excited for our date after so long. I started thinking about some nice places for the date night. Just then I got Aaron's call.
" Hey, why did you call?"
" I wanted to tell you that your plan worked. My parents will cancel the marriage because you lied."
" Good happy for you."
" I am too, aren't you happy for yourself, finally you are free too."
" Yeah, go on a date with your boyfriend, get a real engagement ring."
" I am going today, venue is not fixed yet, but I am going."
" He didn't plan anything?"
" I am planning."
I could hear him sigh.
" I will make a reservation for you both at the Alchemist. Enjoy there."
" Thank you so much I loved it there."
" No problem, it's the last thing we do for each other."
" Yeah."
" Nina, I hope everything good for you."
" Thank you Aaron for everything. I also hope that you smile more enough to show your dimp---" what the heck was I about to say! I stopped myself. I guess I heard him laugh.
" Good bye Nina."

Though it was our last call, but it didn't seem like one. He is rude but he is kind person. I too wish only good for him.
I called Jane over to help me get ready. After a full hour of choosing a dress from my closet, I decided to wear the pink dress Andrew gifted me on our first anniversary of our relationship.

" Nina , you hate pink." She said making a face.
" I know , but Andrew gifted me this, and it would make him happy if I wear this today."
Jane nodded.
" He didn't know that I like blue, It was just a year , that too was spent in college." I replied.
" Fine fine , let me do your hair.
Jane styled my hair into little braids with a high ponytail.
" Enjoy your date Nina."
" Thank you"
" Don't come back home" Jane said.
" What?"
" Go to his place " she said it with a smirk on her face.
" Jane!"
I blushed.
said bye to Jane and left for The Alchemist. I was a little late though, but I guess that's okay.
