it's all love

It was late, I couldn't sleep. Again. I do this every time, I sleep late and then don't wake up at times. He still hasn't called me yet, after I informed him that I was home. I preferred not to disturb him cause he was busy. Just then ,I heard knocking on my window, I woke up from my bed and rushed to open it.
" What are you doing here?"
I was surprised to see Aaron outside my window.
" I wanted to talk to you." He said.
" You could have called me "
" I wanted to see you."
" You could have used the frame downstairs, it's called a door."
" I didn't wanted to disturb your parents this late."
" Right."
" Are you taking me in or not?"
" Sorry."
I helped him get in.
" Why did you want to see me this urgent?"
" I wanted to apologize for today."
" Why?"
" My dad--"
" Aaron, it's fine. I don't mind "
He nodded.
" Is there anything else?"
" Anything else?"
" Yeah, anything else you are not telling me."
" No, there is nothing."
He sat on my bed.
" Aaron, no lies, no secrets between us."
" I know. And I am not."
" What did you and your dad have a fight about?"
" Because I left the court. I didn't behave."
" Aaron, no lies "
" I am not. That's the reason."
I went closer to where he was sitting.
" Then why did your dad looked so pissed at me."
" No, he was pissed at me , not you. I apologised --"
" I don't want your apology, I want to know the truth. Like the way I tell you everything, I want you to tell me everything too, I don't care about good or bad."
" Do you want me to go?" He stood up.
" Aaron, I am not arguing with you, I just want you to tell me the truth."
" Nina, whatever I told you is truth, would you leave this?" He held me by my arms looking densely at me.
" If you don't want to tell me then you can leave."
" Nina please don't do this. I will handle this."
" What's happened to handle?"
He didn't say anything.
" Then leave."
I went to my bed to sleep.
" Nina--"
I didn't respond and laid down on my side. He came towards my side and sat down on the floor on his knees.
" Nina."
" Go away."
" Why are you fighting with me?"
" I am not fighting against you , Aaron, we are in the same team."
" Then why?"
" Because, Aaron, you tell me things after it completely got you over. I don't want that for you."
I got up and sat in front of him. He was sitting down near my lap.
" Please? Tell me."
" Fine. Don't feel bad--"
" I won't. Okay? Tell me everything."
He hesitated.
" It's my dad. He -- he thinks all this happened because of you. He thinks you worked with Melisa to do all this , to get me in jail."
" What?"
" He thinks that --"
" He thinks what?"
" That you are -- you are another Melisa in my life."
" Aaron--"
" I am so sorry."
He laid his head on my lap.
" Aaron, it's fine."
" What?" He looked up to me.
" Yeah, it's fine. We can handle this too. I can win over your dad again. You got your dates again right?"
" Yeah."
" Then it's good! Court will prove the truth. He will understand. If not then I will win his trust. Like you did for my parents."
He stared into my soul.
" What?"
" I love you."
" You were scared to tell me this?"
" Yeah, I thought you would feel bad, and the way my dad treated you today, I couldn't tell you."
" I don't feel bad okay? We are in same team right?"
" Yeah "
He hugged my legs.

After 2 days

I waited outside the court for him come outside. I was so excited to see him after all this was over. He was free finally. She was arrested for good. The man who almost kidnapped me took her name. I spoke against her. And many more things. Everything was against her, she couldn't even stand a chance against him this time. Aaron didn't let her.
I saw him opening the door. He ran towards me like a little kid. I was jumping and bouncing as he hugged me.
" Aaron, Aaron congratulations!"
He spun me around and kissed me.
" Finally Nina! I love you , I love you."
" I love you too "
He didn't let go of my hug.
" Where is your mom and dad?"
" They are in the car."
" Are they waiting for you?"
" Yeah "
" Tell them to go, I will drop you home."
" Yeah."
I told my parents so. They were so happy too.

" Aaron?" I spoke as we sat in the car.
" Yes?"
" When did you realise that you love me?"
I thought for a while.
" Why it's so hard to remember?!"
" Darling I fall in love with you everyday, let me pick a moment."
I smiled,
" You have answers to everything!"
" Ofcourse."
" I know you hated me the first time we met."
" I didn't hated you. It was annoying."
" Are you saying I was annoying."
" No, you are still annoying"
" Aaron!"
I playfully hit him.
" So , I realised that I love you when, I started thinking about you after our date in the Alchemist. I saw another side of you that day and I was completely gone."
I was blushing hard.
" I saw you in that midnight blue dress and I couldn't stop from that day. You got me hard."
" You remember the dress?"
" I remember everything darling. Now tell me when did you realise?"
" For me, apart from you being a jerk."
" I wasn't a jerk to you. "
" Well, you used to ignore my calls and messages. You complained about me to my mom. You were a bitch."
" Oh my God, brutal."
I was laughing hard.
" Okay, so , it was I guess when you showed me your soft side. "
" When?"
" The day at Danny's, when you danced with me. I got butterflies."
" You want more?"
He kissed me.
" Listen, what do you want from the future?"
" Right now, I have not decided --"
" Don't overthink, I meant about your career. Do you still want the job at my company?"
" Yeah, I do, I do. I will send an application soon."
" Okay, I know that you want to earn it but I can --"
" If you say it again I would apply for another company then."
" I will shut up."
" Good. Come on, start driving."
" Well , one more question."
" Yeah"
" Do you think of marriage?"
" I--"
" No, not that way. I mean we have tried to stop this marriage but now,like after us, we can still stop marriage, or push it forward."
" But what about your dad?"
" I haven't had a talk with him after this."
" Then should I talk?"
" No, I will handle this."
" No, Aaron, I think I should have a talk with him. Can you please arrange it?"
" Really?"
" Yeah, I will convince him."
" I don't think so, I don't want him to insult you again."
" He won't, you won! Why would he?"
" I don't know I am just worried."
" Listen, don't worry, I will take to him , Aaron, we need to sort this out as soon as possible. It will be okay."
" Fine. I can be there right?"
" No, ofcourse not. "
" Why?"
" I want to speak to him alone. "
" Are you sure?"
" Yeah."
" Okay, I will inform you."
" Yeah."

He started driving to my house. We talked a lot along the way. I mean , I talked a lot, he listened, most of the time. He stopped the car right in front of my gate.
" Okay then, don't forget to inform me."
" Yeah."
" I will get going."
" I love you." He said.
" Yeah, alright." I want to have some fun. I wanted to freak him out a little.
" Wait." He said, when I was about to open the door. He locked the doors.
" I said, I love you."
" Yeah "
I nodded and smiled.
" Why are you not saying it back?"
" Nothing, unlock the car, I should go."
" Did I do something wrong?"
" No."
" Then? Why didn't you say it back? Darling I love you."
" Alright, now open them."
" I won't open until you say it back."
" Aaron."
" No, seriously did I do something wrong?" He looked so stressed
I started laughing.
" I was kidding, I love you too."
He gave me a side eye.
" What? It's fun to see you freak out."
He leaned towards me and said,
" If you prank me like this again, I will make sure you won't be able to walk again."
I was speechless. He has answers to everything. I started looking around hiding my smile.
" I love you Aaron." I giggled.
" I love you too." He smiled and opened the door for me. We kissed and I entered home.
