I was walking around my room frustrated when I heard a knock at the window. I ran towards the window looking down. He was standing down looking up at me.
" Aaron!"
He asked me to lower my voice.
" Sorry."
He was looking for something so that he could climb up.
" Aaron , you won't be able to climb up here, I will get down. Wait."
" I found ladder."
He took our neighbour's ladder which was in their garden and placed it near my window.
" Can you really?"
" Don't worry."
He started climbing up and my heart started beating faster.
As soon as he reached my window, no cupped his face.
" I am so sorry Aaron."
" Darling let me come in first."
" Oh yes, sorry." I moved aside making space for him to come in.
He started roaming around my room.
" Aaron, I am so sorry for my parents. They just don't know, they will know soon ---"
" Hey, baby " he took my face in his hands and stared into my eyes.
" It's not your fault, it's alright, I don't feel bad at all." He reassured me in his soft voice.
" But she just shut the door at your face--"
" It's all right darling. It doesn't matter okay? It will get over soon."
I hugged him against his chest.
" Nina, don't get them worried okay? As soon as get out of here, you open the door okay?"
" No."

I laughed.
" So I have something to tell you."
He looked concerned.
" What?"
" She filled a case on me."
" What?! But she knows that it's not true right? Then? How can she?"
" I really don't know. I am sure she has something against me. She wants something."
" What?"
" If she wins the case, and I go in jail, she will get half of my income. It's like she doesn't have to work at all."
" She is a bitch."
" I can't let this happen, Nina. I will lose everything. She filled a case means she has something strong evidence against me. Nina I swear I haven't done anything."
" Aaron, I know, everything is going to be alright okay? I am there for you. If anything happens, I will come as a living walking proof in the court okay?"
He gave a small laugh.

He stood straight right in front of my eyes.

He walked closer to me and placed his hands on my waist.

I smiled and finally said it back to him confidently,

" I should go."
" Yeah, when can I see you again?"
I hugged him again.

" Aaron, once again, I am very sorry--"
" Nina--"
" No , you are the most important person in your company, you give orders, you are an owner of so many restaurants and everything and my parents treated you like no one."
" My darling, I really don't mind. I want you to understand that. I am just a ordinary person who has their daughter's hand, so they getting worried is expected right?"
I nodded.
" Comeon, I have to climb this everyday?"
I laughed.
" Yeah , if you want to see me then yes."
We kissed eachother and then he started climbing down.

" Nina! It's enough! Open the door now " I turned around looking at the closed door as my dad called.
" Go open the door." He ordered me.
" I will, you get down quick."
" Yeah"
" Aaron, pay attention there, I don't want you to get hurt."
" I won't darling."

I waved him goodbye and immediately opened the door later.
The next morning, , Jane told me that he had his first hearing in the court tomorrow morning, it was all over the news. The situation was getting worse.

" Mom I am going out."
" Nina, stop, don't you forget that you are grounded."
" Mom, please, let me go."
" I know where you going, and I can't allow you. It's dangerous."
" What's dangerous?!"

When we were driving to his office I saw crowd near the gates. We had to stop the car outside to get inside. I asked the security If he knew what was happening.
" What's happening here?"
" I don't know, it's the media."He replied as he was exhausted with all that.
" Oh my God."
" Nina let's go back home."
" No, I haven't come here to go back home. I am going to see him."
" Fine."

We got inside pushing through the crowd somehow. The media was telling their own plot twists to the world without knowing the actual truth. I couldn't bear that.
" It's not true." I shouted at the woman who was using a bad language against him.
" What?"
" Whatever you are saying, it's not true, stop spreading lies."
" Who are you?"
" Doesn't matter. Don't talk rubbish if you don't know anything."
My mom was trying to stop me from talking something else.
" How can you support such a cheap man?"
" He the greatest man of all. I know him , better than you all. You just heard one side of the story and started making judgements about him? Without actually knowing him? Didn't you think that he might be framed in this? Did you ever thought that he might be the victim? Did you? I know him, I know what that woman did to him but You all believed her! Did you ever think of hearing his side of the story? How could you?! You know what, you all are cheap. Not him."
I had to stop talking to take a deep breath. I needed that after my monologue on national television. My mom started pulling me inside.
" Nina are you out of your mind?!"
" Mom they were talking rubbish about him."
" So? You don't have to defend him."
" Mom, just let's go in."

I looked at the receptionist sitting there.
" Don't you dare stop me again."
" You can go in ma'am." She replied.
" Good."
I rushed my mom into the elevator and to his cabin.
" Aaron?"
" Oh my god Nina--"
He was coming for a hug when my mom stopped him.
" Oh , Mrs brown, nice to see you here."
" Nina, finish this quick."
" Aaron, how are you?"
" Okay, I guess."
I noticed that he was getting conscious about his words in front of my mom.
" Aaron, the media down--"
" Yeah, I know, they will go away after sometime, did they troubled you while getting here?"
" No , no , it's alright."
There was an awkward silence between us.
" How's the case?" I asked him.
" I have my first hearing tomorrow."
" Yeah, I know, jane told me."
" Yeah."
" How's your preparation going?"
" Good."
" I am so glad to hear it. Aaron. All the best."
" Don't worry about it. I am confident about my side. I know the situation right now is not on my side, but truth always wins."
I smiled at him.
" I know, I believe in you."
He tried stepping ahead towards me. But my mom stared into his soul so he stopped. I knew he wanted to hold me, but he couldn't.

" Aaron, why don't you go in the media and tell them your side of the story? They are framing something of their own minds!"
" Nina, whatever I say , they won't believe me. I need proofs. Which I am going to show them in the courts. She might get sympathy now. But I am getting the justice."
I was so proud of him. Proud of his answer. Proud that I called him mine.
I looked at my mom, she wasn't happy though, but that's okay, she will be when he wins.
" Nina enough let's go "
" Mom, wait."
" Mrs Brown, I am very glad that you let her come here. I know you don't believe me, but at least you came, it means a lot ,thank you."
She nodded. We both were smiling at each other.
" Aaron, if you need any help--"
" Nina enough, whatever you have done down there was enough for us."
" Down? What did you do?" He was concerned.
" No, nothing. Mom shush!"
I asked her to keep silent.
" Aaron, I won't disturb you anymore now , you can continue your work."
" Nina, wait."
He once again tried to come forward, but then instead he tried to take my hand.
" Don't touch her " my mom shouted.

" Mom, stop."
