The hearing started and oh my god that woman was out of her goddamn mind. She was so manipulating everyone present there. She showed some photos of her injuries and some sort of eyewitnesses. She was very cunning. On the other hand, Aaron, was practical, rational, and he had logical points against her. I had never been prouder of him. He kept looking at me from time to time. He was so confident about his truth. He showed his wedding clips, the day she left him. She didn't have any idea that he had her video of getting out of the hall. She was speechless. Mad woman.
She still managed to get another date for the court. But this time, she was already shaded. Aaron's guilty less side was shown to the world.

After it was done, he came walking towards us.
" Congratulations Aaron , well done."
I was so happy and proud of him.
" Thank you."
I hugged him. Yes. In front of my parents. Well they didn't stop me now, I guess they changed their opinion about him. Aaron's parents congratulated him too.
" Good work Aaron." My dad said.
" Thank you Mr. Brown."
" We apologise for our response to you. We should have heard you."
" It's alright, I don't have any bad feelings about it. I very well understand your position."
" Oh my god, mom, finally, finally, I am so happy." I hugged her.
" Thank you Mrs brown."
" You have some explanation to do Nina, get home."
" Yeah."
" Can she stay? For a little while. I will get her home, safely."
" Aaron, I am so sorry for her. She caused a lot of trouble for you. She told us everything--"
" Oh, please, mrs Brown it's alright. Really. You don't have to apologise."
" Thank you for helping her."
" It's my duty."
" Get her home, Don't be late."
" Yes." He nodded happily.

" What did you exactly say to them? Why are they so pissed at you?" He laughed.
" Stop talking, you got back being their favourite because of me okay. Don't laugh."
" Sorry, but actually, what did you say?"
" I told them everything , from start to end. About Andrew, everything he did."
" Oh "
" Yeah."
" Finally, I get to see you, touch you, hold you, fuc--"
" Aaron!"
" What?"
" Stop it, atleast look around."
" Do you want me to announce it? I can do that you know."
" I am going."
" Alright fine, I will stop."
Melisa on the other hand kept looking at us.
" Aaron, she is looking at us."
" You look at me." He said.
He put his hand around me as we walked out of the court. The media gathered around him asking him questions. He ignored all of them and took me straight to his car.
" Atleast now you should have said something."
" I want to keep a low profile."
" Okay."
" I can't believe what that bitch did there. How can she have all that fake marks, injuries and even people?!"
" I don't know what she did there. Really, it's so unbelievable. The Melisa I knew --- was --"
" I understand."
" Let's go around a little bit."
" Yeah."

He got me to one of his cafe's.
" Welcome to Kave's." He said.
" Thank you."

" Welcome sir, welcome madam."
I smiled at the waiter who welcomed us.
He got us a nice table and served us some drinks.
" So, when is the next hearing?"
" Two days later."
" Okay."
" It's over Nina, I am going finish this."
" I know."
" God I am so relieved, Nina, I just -- feel so lighter."
" Everything is good. Again. So, now what?"
" Now, I have to get back to work."
" Aaron!"
" What? They should know that I am winning the case. I want to resume my restaurant in Paris. "
" Right. Now you would run after Paris won't you? She is the other woman in your life now"
" Yeah , you are right."
" Aaron!"
" Are you jealous of her? Do I smell jealousy?"
" No, she should be jealous of me! I get to have you. Not her."
He flicked my nose.
" Thank you Nina, for standing by my side, fighting with your parents and world for me. "
" How many times are you going to thank me for this? If you thank me once again, I will break up with you."
" What?!" He laughed.
" Hey, I am not kidding, you wanna see?" I got up to leave when he held my hand and put me back on my seat.
" Don't you dare go away now."
My cheeks turned red.
" Nina, I am so grateful for you." He kissed my cheek and looked up to thank the lord.
" Aaron, you are making me --"
" Making you?"
" You make me feel on the top of the world. I couldn't stop turning red."
" That's what I am for."
He kissed me.

We started talking for hours there. After a long time , I saw him tension free and relaxed.
" Let's drop you home."
" What, so early?"
" So early? It's been 2 hours."
" So what?"
" Your mom asked me to get you home early. "
" Now you want to listen to her and not me?"
" Yes. I will obey her orders, now let's go."
" Aaron --"
" Come on darling."
He held my hand and got me out with him.

After 2 days.

Well he stopped coming from the window now. The doors had been open for him again. My parents even invited him for lunch. And now everything was good. Today's is his last hearing. Final one. Today is his winning day.
" Nina, we are leaving for the court." My mom said. I was upstairs, just woken up. How could I over sleep today?! I even set 14 alarms. I still got late.
" Mom, yeah , go ahead, I will book a cab and join you there."
" Alright, be there on time."
" Yeah."

I wanted to get to surprise him by getting there early. I was planning to see him at his place first and then we both would go together. But nothing goes according to my plan.
I got out rushing and I saw my car waiting.
As I was walking towards it, someone blocked my way.
" You?" I was surprised to see Andrew.
" Nina I want to talk to you."
" I don't want to. Let go of my way."
" Nina, listen to me, hear me out "
" No Andrew, I have to go, get out of my way. I never really thought that I would see you again."
" How could you? You were busy fucking your rich guy."
" Andrew !Shut the fuck up. Don't talk about him like that." I yelled at him.
" I told you, I didn't like him at all, look, he proved it for me. Don't you see the news?"
" I think you didn't see the news. Aaron has proven his truth to the world. Today is his winning day. Open your eyes "
" Nina, you trust the wrong person."
" I did once, I won't do it again."
" Nina god please listen to me once, please "
He tried to take me aside.
" Nina , I really miss you."
" Andrew don't, please."
" Are you going to forget all we have had for the past years?"
" You forgot it! Everything! You changed everything on that night. We can't go back to it."
" Nina , I am sorry."
" Sorry? Andrew? What the hell?!"
" Nina, --"
" Andrew let me go. You just disrespected me, and you expect me to come back to you? Never."

I walked back to my cab leaving him stranded there.
I sat in the car and started scrolling on my phone. I didn't notice the path. It's been almost 30 minutes and we were still driving.
" Are we here yet?"
He didn't answer me.
" Excuse me? Sir? Are we there yet? We are supposed be there my now."
He still didn't answer.
" Sir , I am already late, I need to get there on time , please hurry."
Why is he not answering me at all?
" Sir?"
I started getting a little scared. I looked around, I noticed that it isn't any nearby the court.
" Excuse me, I would like to get down here. Stop the car."
He didn't listen to me at all. He was still driving.
" Hey! Stop the car "
I shouted.
He started speeding.
" Stop the car!" I tried opening the car doors but they were locked. I was banging the windows but still were of no use. He didn't even bother to look at me. I was getting more afraid of him.
" Stop the car please! Stop!"
" Stop!" I shouted again and again.
