A week prior the birthday party.
'...and don't forget to have your calcium tablets...I will call after Thursday...' the lone message from Rajeev made Mrunal tear up which even melted Rosé.
"...Mam, relax...we will hear good news from them...soon!..." as the special agent took her phone back, she ordered the guards to secure the room from outside.
"...Dada!...Dada!!..." as Meera tried to look out at the dawning sun, missing her Dada. Mrunal picked her up and smiled replying "...Dada will be back soon..."
The baby found her solace in her mother's chubby shoulders and hummed in satisfaction.
Trishna's room
Nimya was playing with her doll house as she organised them neatly, being watched over by Namith.
Trishna was on a concall with her international students on their projects regarding the final assessment.
Trishna opted to give online counselling to the student alongwith the handling their academic curriculum, being a part time professor for the University of Michigan.
"...well, Channing...I think you look into the article which I had mailed you...and then we will discuss about it in our next meeting...ok...Class if you have any queries, you can always mail or message through Outlook...bye for now..." saying so she cut the google meet and proceeded to stretch her muscles.
"...Mumma...I need to prepare for my test for tomorrow..." Nimya came to her as she felt Trishna to be free from her professional burden.
"...I will help with the bedding and...on the geyser for your bath...you go ahead..." Namith understood her tired look with the radiant smile for their daughter and helped her out...as usual.
As the parents prepared for their sleep, after ending up with their daily chores. Namith heard a knock on the door. He glanced at the clock showing 11 and saw that Trishna signalled him to open the door.
"...Ishu?...Veena Chech was calling you...can you come for a minute?..." Prisha smiled at Namith and called out Trishna who nodded her head.
