Outside the ER
The doctor came out with a worried look and glanced at Dhiraj telling him about the stroke being suffered by Arjun.
Deepika collapsed on the chair hearing about her husband. Soumya ran to catch hold of her and rubbed her shoulders to calm her.
Prisha looked over Mrunal who was still like a rock with no emotions, tensing her.
She saw only lone tears from the daughter's eyes, meaning only one thing – shock.

"...Buji?!!...Buji?!!!..." She heightened her tone to the silently tearing up girl who was fainty and wanted to cry but couldn't.
"...Cry, damitt?!!!..." She jolted her sharply making the men move towards her to separate her from the fragile girl.
"...Buji?!!!...." her blurry vision went towards the soft voice who caught hold of her shoulder. She couldn't bear anymore and burst into loud cries holding his hands. She collapsed on the floor not leaving his hands.
Mrunal just wiggled in his hold not leaving his hands and howled at the way her life was playing a crude joke on her.
Dhiraj was not able to hold back and slumped on the chair, Ram went to calm him with his words of comfort.
The coming weeks showed the family in their most vulnerable state being moving in and out of the hospital premises. Dhiraj was only able to control his tears and sorrow for giving hope to his family, especially Mrunal.
Gaurav was seated near Arjun as he was shifted to the normal ward after a week of treatment for his stroke. The Nair family were immensely helping the family in their dire time, not wanting any gratitude from them.
