As he entered the room, he smelled a mild aroma of vanilla with a hint of cinnamon making him smile.
"...I have arranged for your bath...you can take your time...and come down for dinner..." Mrunal then placed the ironed clothes on the bed, glancing at Rajeev who couldn't stop his small smile at her.
'...what the....?!!'He blinked his tired eyes again to see his wife coming inside their lonely room with her radiating aura.
'...the scars!!...' Rajeev saw the way she was not able to hide her beautiful scars from his eyes, like always. Mrunal was lighting the candle on the bedside table and was not visible from his confused eyes who couldn't see her blow the cinnamon stick.
She kept the stick on the tray and moved to take his coat which he had kept on the bed. He rolled his sleeves up and removed his shirt buttons, with his closed eyes not able to understand the changed scenario of his room.

'...God!...what is that smell?!!...*inhales deeply*...' his eyes seemed to play with him, as they saw a kind of white glimmering halo circling her entire slender self, totally awakening his senses.
As she was about to move out, he grabbed her wrist and tightly hugged her murmuring breathlessly "...I love you...' He had a close up of her wounds that she had probably forgotten to cover with her usual full-length blouse.
But he loved them. His fingers moved over the healing part of her injuries, making her flinch a little. He wanted to soothe them with his soft kisses. The thought made him bring her closer, hearing her chortles.
Mrunal chuckled at his words replying "...I too love you...now get refreshed...I have made your favourite kheer...it will get cold...hm?"
