chapter one.

"You're going to Seoul."

A huge smile immediately appeared on Jungkook's face before he let out a loud squeal. He jumped on his bed repeatedly with happiness.

"Oh my god! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He says before jumping off of the bed excitedly to hug his mom.

"You'll finally meet your cousins after years, kookie! Are you excited?" His mom was delighted to see her son basking in joy at the news.

"Very much!" Jungkook replies happily.

He was on cloud nine. Nothing could ever compare to this feeling. This is it. He's finally meeting his cousins after years!

"I'm gonna see Jiminie and Seokjinnie hyung again!" Jungkook's doe eyes twinkled in happiness. He claps his hands and dances, making his mom laugh out loud at her son's cuteness.

The last time he saw his cousins was when they were around twelve years old. Sixth grade. That was six years ago. They only spoke on calls and on social media. Jiminie was his closest cousin among six of them. They never got to see each other on holidays as Jungkook's family always had an overseas trip.

It has been a few years. Sure, he had friends but he had a deep bond with his cousins more than with anyone else.

"You'll meet them in two weeks before the uni starts, okay? Also, you'll be sharing a dorm with one of them. I don't know who yet but I hope it's Jimin. He's the only omega out of them."

Oh right. Jimin is the only omega cousin of Jungkook. Both of them are omegas. The rest of them are all alphas. The doe eyed male is an only child of the Jeons. The rest, his cousins from the Kims, all six of them are siblings. Mr Jeon's older sister is their mom.

"Get ready, kookie. Your graduation is in a few hours. You don't wanna be late." His mom reminds him and the sparkle on Jungkook's eyes brightened even more.

The drive to his school was fun. Today is his high school graduation day. This is one of the most important events of his life. He had so much fun, taking pictures with his friends and family and bidding goodbyes to each other before they went their separate ways for college.

"Good luck for college Jungkookie!" He hears Mingyu, his bestest friend other than his cousins. The male welcomed him with a hug and Jungkook happily received it.

"You too, Mingyu! Promise me we'll still see each other?" He held out his pinky finger for the other.

"Of course! I promise."

"Hey! Me too!" Jaehyun butted in, sealing their pinky promises together. The trio giggled before it turned into a heartbreaking session. They all hugged each other with tears in their eyes.

Besides his cousins, Jungkook also has his friends too. From middle school to highschool. The two of them mean the world for him. Mingyu was an alpha while Jaehyun was a beta.

Though Alpha and Omegas being friends is still being frowned upon, it didn't stop Jungkook from befriending Mingyu. The guy is actually nice and a gentleman from other alphas. None of them has romantic feelings for each other and the doe eyed male is grateful for that.

"Bye schoolmates! Bye everyone! I will miss you all!" The doe eyed beauty kept waving goodbye to every person he saw from his window car. His mom giggles at his cute action while watching him.

"I can't believe I won't be here for a while." Jungkook pouts as he slowly slumped back in his seat. "I will miss Busan so much!"

"Don't worry kiddo, you will have your cousins in Seoul. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun there. Also, I can't let you study in a university where your alpha cousins aren't, you won't be protected from other alphas out there. Atleast, you'll have Taehyung and the others to look out for you." His father says, driving the car with one hand effortlessly.
