chapter eight.

It has been more than forty minutes since they came here to the coffee shop.

There was silence lingering in the air, none of them have spoken a single word ever since but they didn't mind.

Jungkook was about to ask a lot of questions to Taehyung, to try and get to know him more but the food was looking very delicious he couldn't help but to dig in first.

And now the omega is munching his french toast cutely. He ate about a total of three of it and he's now on his last.

Jungkook closes his eyes in satisfaction, feeling the heavenly sweet taste of honey in his tongue. He coated the french toast with lots of honey!

While having his precious moment, he could also feel the gaze of Taehyung lingering on him but he didn't pay attention to his cousin, too focused on his food

The babydoll's eyes instantly open and stop munching when he hears the sound of a camera.

Taehyung, who is literally sitting right in front of him, has his phone on his hand, seemingly taking a picture of Jungkook.

He gasps in surprise. "Hyungie!"

The omega sees Taehyung stifle a laugh while staring fondly at the picture on his phone.

"So cute." Taehyung mumbles but Jungkook hears it.

This made Jungkook blush almost crazily. He's trying hard not to let out his bunny smile.

This is the first time he hears Taehyung complimenting him!

Jungkook couldn't bring his mouth to speak.

Both his mind and heart still couldn't believe it. That he and Taehyung are now hanging out, bonding like what cousins should be.

It feels like one of his dreams finally came true and bonding with Taehyung has been his dream ever since.

He looked away shyly when he noticed Taehyung was still staring at his phone, probably staring at the picture he took of Jungkook.

"Why do you still manage to look so cute even while eating? I don't understand it, baby." Taehyung says, now fixing his gaze back to Jungkook.

The words made Jungkook blush even more. Argh! Why is his cousin like this? He didn't know that the alpha can be so-

His thoughts were interrupted by a notification sound from his phone. He then quickly opens it to see messages from his cousins and a tagged post from Yoongi.

There, he sees a picture of him chugging down a tequila while behind him, there were Namjoon, Jimin, Yoongi and Hoseok and others cheering for him in the background.

Jungkook internally groans when he sees all of their comments. Now everyone could see his face on the photos and how his tipsy self acted.

"Argh! Why did Yoongi hyungie have to post that!" Jungkook is about to throw a tantrum there in front of Taehyung.

He feels more embarrassment kicking in his stomach when Jihoon decides to comment.
