Jungkook didn't get the chance to bid goodbye to his hyungs. He just went straight to the exit. He tried to stop himself from crying as he made his way out of the mall, wiping both of his eyes with his arms.
Once he successfully arrived back in his dorm, he let out loud sobs he was holding and curled on the bed.
He can't help but blame himself for hurting Taehyung and himself. That was the right decision, right? The love between them shouldn't even bloom. He's just trying to protect both of them and sadly, being hurt is inevitable. Jungkook can never escape it.
The doe eyed omega cried the entire day on his bed, rethinking his life decisions. He didn't forget to send a text message to his hyungs, telling them that he's sorry for abruptly leaving and that he reached the dorm safely.
Jungkook forces himself to get up from the bed to take another bath and get ready to see Jihoon for tonight. He needs to end the courting. It would be really unfair to both of them if they keep dragging this on.
The omega chose to wear the oversized canvas work jacket from Enfants Riches Déprimés, one of the graduation gifts that he received from his parents and simple black pants.
He didn't bother to style his bob hair. Only a concealer under his eye bags and a light pink shade of lip tint from Peripera was already enough.
It was already six thirty in the evening when he comes out of the elevator, he sees Jihoon immediately waiting outside, leaning against his car.
"Hey," The alpha smiles. "You look great as always."
Jungkook nods and forces a smile at him. He suddenly feels guilty, looking at Jihoon who wears a cheerful smile on his handsome face.
"Your nose..." Jungkook stares at the bandage surrounding the alpha's nose. "Are you okay now?"
"Yup. I'm totally fine now. Don't sweat about it, bub." Jihoon laughs. "Your cousin surely knows how to kick a ball. Thank god Nara helped me come to the emergency room and the doctors told me it doesn't need surgery. My nose almost fell off, you know?"
Jungkook purses both of his lips, not knowing what to say.
The car ride was silent until they finally reached another unfamiliar resto in Gangnam. Jungkook couldn't bother to remember the name of the restaurant, too lost in his thoughts.
"This one is owned by a family friend. We don't have to make reservations." Jihoon says. "Come, let's go."
Jungkook almost forgot that Jihoon is also a part of one of the richest families in Korea. The most successful plumbing business in the country and a renowned architectural business.
The ambiance was wonderful. Only a few people were there. The sound of a violin playing a famous song playing in the background, creating a romantic atmosphere. There were lots of candles and flowers everywhere. A big chandelier placed in the center.
Jihoon grabs a chair and offers Jungkook a seat. The omega quickly mumbled a 'thank you' and sat down.
"We're here." Jihoon chuckles as soon as he sits, facing Jungkook. "Do you want to eat already?"
Before Jungkook could even reply, Jihoon called someone. "Uh waiter—"
"Jihoon," Jungkook calls. "No need. I don't want to eat."
Jihoon frowns at him, furrowing his eyebrows. "What? Are you okay?"
Jungkook took a heavy deep breath. It's now or never. "Jihoon, we need to end this."
Jihoon looks confused, staring at Jungkook with questioning eyes. "What are you talking about?"
"I said we need to end this. This courting. I need you to stop. Stop courting me, Jihoon. I don't accept it." He firmly says despite his hands shaking, afraid of the alpha's reaction.
