You Can Do Anything

Let me give you some words of wisdom,
I promise I will be very diplomatic,
So please take a seat or two, they're free,
And let me be a little bit dramatic

Is your mind clouded with dark?
Is it hard sometimes to stand?
While this might be because you've lost your youthful spark,
Maybe you just need to get your iron checked

Oh the irony! See what I did there?
Sorry I'll be serious,
Now, not to fast, stand up on your chair,
How important do you feel up there?

There's so much you can do,
If you would only give it a try,
Think about what you wish to pursue,
You are capable of anything, don't you deny

So step down from that chair,
Before someone asks how the weather is up there,
And let loose of your despair,
You can do so much if you only dare

Thank you for letting me inspire you,
Or maybe I did nothing of the sort,
Oh well at least we're through,
And I don't have to rhyme no more
