When aarush entered the room his phone started to ring and he knew who it would be. Making himself ready for the scoldings he picked up the call.

"Hello maa...." aarush said with the most polite voice he had ever used.

"How much is your phone charging?" His mother 'Sharda Srivastava' questioned him in a normal but dangerous voice.

"It's 50%". Aarush replied after checking his phone battery.

"Is the signal good enough?" Here comes the next question......

"Yeah....maa everything is well, good and fine."

"Then where were you lost that you forgot to call me..... I told you to call me first when you safely reach the place but no you won't listen to me....." his mother shouted at him like she will come anytime in front of him from the phone.

"Bhai toh kisi ke aankho me khoye huye the toh call kaise karte". Before aarush could reply adarsh gave the answer.
("Bhaiya was lost in someone's eyes then how will he call someone")

Aarush was giving him deadly glares like if he said one more word he is going to grave his own dig. But who is going to stop adarsh? Adarsh is a very reserved person in front of the world but shows his naughtiness only in front of his family.

"Kiski aankho me" here comes the coolest person of the family 'Pranav Srivastava',father of Aarush and crime partner of his three sons.

"No one dad, he is just saying nonsense." Aarush replied before Adarsh would have said anything else.

"Okay now tell me did you eat anything?"
His mother asked.

"No maa . We just entered inside the room and you called. We will get freshen up first and eat something."

"Okay go go we will talk later, byee...." Before both brother's could reply their mother declined the call.

"Maa ne wakalat choddhi hai magar wakalat ne inhe nahi chodha." Adarsh said, giving a nervous chuckle.
("Maa had left the advocate world but advocacy didn't leave her.")

"That's why I say we should not mess with her." Aarush replied by taking out the towel from the bag.

"Bhaiya I want to sleep."

"So sleep. Who is stopping you?"

"I mean to say, when you go down say to aaru that I won't be joining you both for dinner."

"Aaru...." Aarush gave him a 'how dare you call her that' look.

"I said this big sentence (showing through his index and thumb finger) but you just heard the name with which I called her...."
Adarsh said, controlling the teasing smile which was clearly visible on his face.

"Yeah I didn't like you calling her aaru. I can't describe my feelings but honestly speaking,for the first time in my life someone's eyes were audacity to stop my heart beat." Aarush spoke his heart out. Because keeping his feelings to himself is something which is not his character.

"Bhaiya toh pyaar me padh gaye vohhhh....!!"
("Bhaiya has fallen in love vohhhh...!!")

Aarush just chuckled seeing his brother's excitement. Even a part of him wants to believe that he has fallen in love.

Meanwhile aaradhya was continuously scolding dhruvika whereas dhruvika was listening to her scolding like a obedient child keeping a finger on her lips. Whenever she tried to say anything aaru's one glare was enough for her to shut her mouth.

"You know, I hate alcohol and people who drink them. Here I was getting stressed about you. But who cares madam ko toh bas hume sar dard dena hai." Aaradhya said while squeezing lemon in a glass.
("Madam always wants to give headache to other's")

"Sorry aaru," Dhruvika said, showing her puppy eyes which were not even open properly.

Aaradhya just shook her head at her behavior which was nothing but cute. After making her drink juice, Aaradhya took her to her room and made her sleep.

After coming back to the kitchen she once again checked on the food. It's a very long night for her. The first thing which crossed through her mind was the eye contact she shared with aarush which unknowingly brought a smile on her face.

She was lost in her thoughts when she felt someone's presence. When she turned back she saw aarush who was standing there with a small and beautiful smile on his face. She smiled back.

"Um...you want something?" Aaru asked very politely.

"Yeah actually I was saying that... adarsh won't be joining us for dinner."

"Okay. It could be due to journey fatigue. It happens. Are you not tired?? You can also go and rest."

"I will but maa says that you should have homemade food and sleep. Have even one bite but have something, that's a rule which cannot be broken even if we are not at home."

A chuckle left from aaradhya mouth when she saw a scary expression on aarush face at the end of the sentence. And by seeing that laugh someone's heart was dancing......🤭

"Even my mother says that..."

"We didn't get introduced properly right.here..." aarush forwarded his hand for a handshake. "Myself Aarush Srivastava. I'm going to stay in your house for a few days if you don't have any problems."

Aaradhya gladly accepted the handshake, "This is Aaradhya Sinha here and yeah I don't have any problem with you sharing my house."

"I wish one day we could even share our lives." This thought crossed through our aarush minds when aaru showed her dimple smile.

"So let's eat."

"Yeah."

They served themselves in the kitchen as only they both are left for eating. Taking their seats on the chair, they started having their dinner. There was a comfortable silence in the room. After having aaru collected the dirty plates even aarush advised that he will take his plate but aaru didn't listen.

When she came back, she found aarush sneaking in Jimmi's cage. Taking baby steps she went to him and tapped on his shoulder. He got startled at first then composed himself finding aaru behind him.

"Toh kya ab mere jimmi ko kidnap karenge AAP huh..?" Aaru asked him folding her hands.
("Now are you going kidnap my jimmi huh..?")

"Nooo why will I? I was just.... wandering and I found him sleeping. I was looking at him. There was no such intention of mine."

"Ooo... and what about the thing which dhruvi was talking about ... .huh..?" Aaru asked, biting her inner cheeks to control her laugh.

"Hey.. that was all rubbish. She said that because of alcohol." Listening to this and seeing the scared expression on aarush face aaradhya burst into laughter.

"So..rr.y haha..... sorry.... I was just pulling your leg.... hahaha..."

Aarush was just praising himself that the laugh, the smile on her face is because of him.

"Okay now stop..."

Aaradhya was panting very hard, her cheeks turned red because of laughing. Aarush gave her some water. But she was not ready to stop so she just wished him good night and rushed to her room.

Aarush smiled on her silly antics

"My girl........"
