“My family is a very crazy one.” I said. She looked at me in confusion. I nodded my head and she just chuckled and looked at the view in front of us.

“Tell me, properly.” She turned to me.

I chuckled and faced her with folded hands against my chest.

“Okay.” I said..

“But I was not kidding when I said that we are a crazy family.” I said and she laughed.

“My family is an advocate family as you know. My grandfather was a judge of Uttar Pradesh high court at his time while my grandmother was a simple housewife. Pranav, my dad and Ashutosh, my uncle who is two years younger than my father are also lawyers. My father was a civil lawyer whereas my uncle was a family lawyer-” Radhi cut me off and said,

“Wait.”

“I told you to tell me about your family means you turned into wikipedia.” She said with raised eyebrows.

I laughed and said, “I was just-”

“No, speak like a human not like a robot.” She warned me. I laughed but stopped when I saw the seriousness on her face.

“Okay ma'am.” I saluted her.

“What about your mother? Is she even a lawyer?” She asked. How fast her mood changed…? I'm really amazed. But I have to answer her questions.

“Yeah she was even a lawyer but retired. She was one of the most famous criminal lawyers in India.” I said, proudly.

Her eyes widened slightly.

“Wow, great. Really your family should be called an advocate family. But why didn't you choose to be one of them?” Radhi asked. I smiled and said,

“I wanted to try something else, like you did.” I said and she nodded her head.

“But it's not like there is no lawyer from our generation.” I continued while Radhi raised her brows in confusion.

“What do you mean?”

“Aarav, my small brother is doing LLB. They will be an environmental lawyer between us.” I said.

“Wow.” She complimented.

“We brothers have always been close to maa but aarav took maa as his inspiration for becoming a lawyer. Maa used to tell us about the case and honestly speaking, I and Adarsh used to find it a bit boring but Aarav always got inspired.” I said while the memories of my childhood flashed in front of my eyes.

“Amazing.” Radhi said. I looked at her, she was having a bright smile.

“What happened?”

“Nothing, it reminded me of mrunali, my sister.” She said.

“Oh.”

“You told me about your sister's one day, you remember?” She asked and I nodded my head.
