(A/N): My apologies for the long delay, some things have occurred, and I am trying to get back to my rhythm!

It felt as if centuries had passed since the start of the regional phenomenons that had impacted Hyrule. The kingdom felt so separated, with each region so preoccupied with their own problems, that the last thing on their minds was worrying about how other regions were fairing. This, of course, caught the attention of Hyrule's enemies, but they lurked in the shadows, waiting for the opportune moment to strike.

It took a deep strength within the prince of the Zora to maintain his chirpy attitude around his people, especially with how everyone's spirits got more and more worn down as the sludge continued to rain down. Many became inflicted with the sludge, and had to rest in the pools for treatment, which required the best healers of the Zora. Finding food has also been a challenge, since the majority of the Domain has been sullied, killing off the nearby fish in their usual fishing grounds. Sidon had to serve as the one who helped ease everyone's fears and worries, as were his duties as the prince. However, it was a rather difficult task, given he had the same concerns as his people. He also worried about how he hadn't seen his father for a while now, only getting word that he was further investigating the sludge.

But, through it all, (Y/n) stood by his side, doing her own part to cheer up the people of the Domain. She created necklaces for those who fell ill to lift their spirits, and helped with providing them meals, as well. Throughout the course of her stay in the Domain, (Y/n) was seen as more and more like a Zora Princess in all but name... for the time being, at the very least.

In the times that Sidon spent alone with (Y/n), he felt some sort of reprieve from the current gravity of the situation they were in. It was strange for the one who was so used to cheering everyone else up to have someone do the same for him, but that was the situation Sidon found himself in. It was very difficult to be cheery when his people were struggling.

"You're doing the very best that you can, Sidon. I know that somehow, someway, we'll be able to find some way to put a stop to this." (Y/n) told the prince with a hopeful smile. "We may not have a way to get to the sky at the moment, but a way will show itself to us with time. We just have to have faith..."

Sidon sighed softly. "...I know... But... it pains me deeply to see my people living in such a state. It was not even this bad when Vah Ruta went on a rampage..." A sad smile then crossed his face. "...Vah Ruta... If only we have delayed it's decommission, then perhaps maybe-"

"Vah Ruta's rampage, part two, could have occurred. There is no use in wallowing over what we could have done, only in what we can do. And what we are doing now is enough... What you are doing right now is more than enough. The people have a stream of clean water, something that is critical." (Y/n) told the prince firmly.

She has noticed that the more time has passed, the more self doubt the prince seemed to have in himself and his capabilities, which of course irked her. He was such an incredible man, and everyone seemed to acknowledge that but himself. She blamed how critical the Council has been on him for planting the seed of such self doubt into him, as well as the events surrounding the late princess.

"You are right... I just cannot help but worry, especially when there has yet to be word about Princess Zelda or Link. I-I do not want to think the worst, but-" Sidon clenched one of his fists with a tremble. "W-What if... They do not come back this time?..."

A silence fell between the two, before (Y/n) had a look of conviction appear on her face. "They will come back to us, Sidon. I know right now I do not have physical proof for this feeling, but I just know somehow that they will be back, one way or another." She told him with a firm nod.
