Today was the day that I go on my date with the illustrious Kevin Perez. He's a big time lawyer with a conviction rate of 85%. One day Kevin popped in the firm saying that he needed our help and from then on its history.
I had tried on probably a hundred different outfits but nothing was really speaking to me.

"Come in!" I said
Wait who in my home?
"Heyy David," Darrian said
Oh I did give him a key
"Why are y you dressed? Kevin is gonna be here soon," Elijah said
"Everything I own is ugly," I said
"Nigga you got to have something in your closet," Elijah said
"Fuck it's almost 8," I said to myself
"What about this?" Darrian asked
He was holding up something that I never wore together before. It was a Amiri sweater with some black dress pants. Now I have a lot of dress pants but these still had the tag on them.
I quickly changed into the outfit and then put my Rolex on. Just as I was finishing up, the doorbell rang. Elijah and Darrian went to the door while I checked myself out for the one millionth time. I could hear Kevin's deep voice enter inside my apartment.
I headed downstairs to see Kevin standing there with almost the same fit on as me. It's just that his sweater was blue and mine is grey.
"I see we were thinking the same thing," I laughed
"Yea but you look better," Kevin smiled
"Ok Kevin have him back by a reasonable time or else we're grounding both of you," Darrian said
"Ignore him. Let's go," I said smiling
"Who the hell David think he is?" Darrian asked as we walked out.
"Your friends are cool," Kevin said
"Only to total strangers they're nice," I said as he opened his car door for me

Ngl I was a little tense and nervous. This isn't my first date but it's been a while since I've been on one.
I thought the wine would loosen me up but I'm still nervous.
What if I say the wrong thing?
"Do I make you nervous David? Cause you're kinda sweating," Kevin laughed

"You do but this is my first date in a long time. I've been so focused on my job that I haven't really had a social life," I said
"I know how you feel. My whole life revolves around my cases. I'm the youngest at my firm and I just wanna show them that I can do it," Kevin said
