PRILOGUE 0-5: Ultimate Introductions Pt 3

3RD PERSON POV:

"So we can go outside now, huh??" Ranmaru said to himself as he walked into the new area. He examined the clean space, as well as the door. The doors were 2 old wooden round double doors with a thick metal latch on the centre of it, keeping it closed.

"Ah yes, it would appear as much." He heard a soothing voice speak from behind him. He turned around slowly, and the moment he saw the slender masked man standing behind him, he quickly squealed and jumped back.

"D- dude!? Jeez, didn't have time scare me, though it isn't the first time, " He spoke, whispering the last bit. The man before him seemed to be wearing an old Japanese military uniform and had long black hair.

"Apologies, I just came to introduce myself to you before you left to explore outside," He explained, which calmed Ranmaru down slightly but still left him unnerved. "My name is Korekiyo Shinguji, and I am the ultimate Antrhopologist. But please, call me Kiyo."

"Oh, well, I'm Ranmaru Kageyama, Ultimate Escape Artist. It's... a pleasure to meet you!" Ranmaru spoke warily. "So, have you been outside yet?"

"I myself haven't done much exploring, but I had a look outside and examined the door. No traps seemed to be connected."

"That's great, man! But hey, you sound very formal. You must take your job as an anthropologist pretty seriously, huh?" Ranmaru deducted. Korekiyo let out a small chuckle and looked at him.

"Of course, I take my talent seriously since it involves humanity." Korekiyo answered. "I believe... that humans are creatures that possess an infinite beauty. I find all human aspects beautiful. Even the ugly parts hold a form of beauty. Our current situation is intriguing too, is it not? I'm very curious to see the beauty that can emerge from it..."

Ranmaru looked at him with a complete sense of fear for his wellbeing while around Korekiyo. He nodded and agreed to him dismissively, then quickly left through the double doors.

When he walked outside, the sight of a massive bird cage of sorts stood around the school. Ranmaru stared in disbelief, not being able to comprehend such a sight. 'Surely nobody has the money to build something like this, right?' He thought. Despite his confusion and panic on the inside, on the outside, he simply stared up in awe at the sight.

"Rise and Shine ursine!"

Suddenly, 5 bears suddenly appeared in front of Ranmaru. He recognised the one stood in the centre, being monotaro. But the 4 other bears materialising along with him made him jump back.

"J- jesus!? There's..  more of you??" Ranmaru asked hesitantly.

"Of course! I told you there were more of us!!" Monotaro said to a stiff ranmaru.

"We just never got to introduce ours'selves 'cause we've been taking care of youse bastards." The yellow bear spoke. Ranmaru quickly realised their names as they scolded each other. The green one was Monodam, yellow one was Monosuke, the pink one was Monophanie, and the blue one was Monokid.

"We just came to welcome you to the outdoors of the academy for gifted juveniles!" Monophanie cheered.

'So that's what this place is called??? Jeez, it makes us sound like we're horrible students calling us juveniles...' Ranmaru facepalmed internally.

Before he could ask any other questions, the monokubs had already vanished from sight. With no other information, he began looking around the outdoors.

As Ranmaru walked around the pathways confused with no idea of where he was going, he eventually met with a tall purple haired man in slippers and a purple coat.
