CHAPTER 3-3: Rise, Angie Yonaga!

1ST PERSON POV:

it was around 8 in the morning by now, and I was still sitting in the same place I had been for the past... what was it, 2 hours? To my dismay, Tsumugi, Tenko, and I were all assigned on supervising the dining hall and making sure nobody trued anything or anyone while Angie was away with the rest of the council. However, she also chose to have the student council meeting much earlier, so I was only running on like 10% battery, and so we're the others.

Luckily, our suffering could come to an end now, as the others began to trickle into the dining hall, with the absence of Kaito and Shuichi. Tsumugi walked out as most of them came in, holding today's assigned breakfast. Seriously, why did Angie have to assign our BREAKFAST.

"Hey, fluff for brains! Where the fuck is Angie???" Miu barked to me. I nodded and slowly rose from my seat at the edge of the room, most of the others looking to me for an answer.

"A-ah, yes... alright, everyone. As the co-president... whatever.. of the Student Council, it is my duty to inform you that we will be supervising your breakfast as Angie is... hunting..."

"You mean like... hunting people!?" Kokichi yelled out with an odd excitement.

"No– she's just looking for something..."

Kokichi nodded slowly, and the others begrudgingly sat down and ate their food and conversed quietly. By now, I was leaning against the wall of the entrance, watching over the others. As I scanned the room, though, I saw Tsumugi walking towards me.

"Hello Ranmaru, how are you???" She chirped. I nodded and looked to her with confusion. "H- hey, Tsumugi... Do you need anything??"

"Ooh! Why, yes, I do! Well... It's actually just a question."

"...yes?" Oh god, it's gonna be weird, isn't it...

"Do you have a telepathic link to your split personality? Ooh, follow up... what's his name?? Surely it isn't just Ranmaru #2?" She bombarded.

"Uhhh... well, sometimes there's a link.. and no, no name either... he's just... an 'it'." Was all I managed to mutter out.

"No way... does that mean you hear everything when he's in control, too??"

"Uhh... yeah, I guess s- "

"Does he have any... ~ scandalous ~ thoughts???"

"WHAT!?"

Before I could even reply to.... that. Angie burst in through the doors next to me, with the other council members following in behind. Everyone's gazes flipped around to her, their guard naturally rising as they looked to her.

"Nyahahaa~ thank you all very much for bearing with us!" She cheered. As she walked in, I, along with all the others, noticed something resting in Angie's hands. Its familiar sleekness and bulk stood out against her thin figure and small height. Looking at it.. i thought back to the meeting from earlier that morning.

I sighed and stretched as the meeting finally came to a close. However, as I looked up, I noticed Angie rounding up most of the council near the door, leaving me, Tsumugi, and Tenko all sat by the table.

"Hey, Ang, where are you going with everyone??" I questioned as she looked around to me.

"Simple, a little monokub informed Keebo here of the presence of another flashback light on the campus grounds, and we need to obtain it before anyone else finds it!" She explained. "And until we get back, I'd like you three to make sure everyone stays in the dining hall until we return!"
