CHAPTER 1-3: Suspicion

3RD PERSON POV:

As everyone walked towards the dining hall in a healthy mood, they were relieved with the almost certain fact that monokuma was dead and the killing game was near enough over.

"Maannn, for a moment, I had no idea what was gonna happen, I'm glad it turned out this way!!" Kokichi said with a bubbly attitude. Everyone else voiced their own versions of content, the scenario they were now in.

"Although... I have a question." Keebo said abruptly. "Despite MonoKUMA being dead, what about the monokubs? Would they be able to stop us from doing anything along with the exisals??"

"I think I can answer that!" Ranmaru said with a much happier attitude than usual. "In the rulebook, it only determines we couldn't harm MONOKUMA. Never said we can't touch the monkubs, so I think if they try something, we can easily destroy them with no consequences."

"Oh, that's a massive relief, thanks, Ranmaru." Keebo sighed a breath of relief.

"But is this really how it ends?" Kaede thought aloud. Everyone looked in her direction in confusion. "S-sorry! I just..
I can't think that it would be this easy, right??"

"I wonder.. perhaps you had wished for the killing to continue??" Korekiyo suggested. Kaede immediately began to defend herself and was still silenced by the group to keep the mood happy, but it made Ranmaru think as well. was it truly over? He thought it was, but something in the back of his kind gnawed at him that the answer was different.

As everyone tried to calm down Kaede, their efforts went to waste as something appeared behind kaede.

"And that's my cue to appear, kuma!" It announced. It looked almost exactly like monokuma, except it had a belt around its waist, a blue collar, cat ears, and clearly fake blue flames around him.

"What!?"

"GAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

"Monokuma..!"

"H-He's still alive!?"

"No, no, no, you guys blind or something, kuma? I ain't monokuma, kuma." It replied, repeating the word kuma after every sentence. "After dying in a tragic car accident, I've been reborn as a Yo-Kai! Call me Jibakuma, kuma! From now on, I'm the headmaster of the ultimate academy, kuma! You might feel uncomfortable at first, but you'll get used to it eventually."

"Huh?? Did I slip up???"

The entire dining room suddenly erupted into a flurry of annoyance and complaints with Monokuma's appearance.

"Ah jeez... it's such a low-level cosplay, I can't bear to look..." Tsumugi said on the brink of vomiting.

"Yikes, his acting is as ugly as his costume..." Ranmaru cringed.

"Man, you guys are BUZZKILLS! I was all set for adventure before you all started just yelling at me. This is why I hate teenagers!!" Monokuma complained as he removed his bad quality accessories.

The monokubs quickly came in and panicked at the sight of their father. He told the group and the monokubs about the spares he has, but that they only have one machine.

"Does this mean... Is the killing game going to continue???" Tsumugi asked hesitantly.

"W- what do you mean the killing game is going to continue..?!" Kokichi said with a fake-frown. "I mean, it sounds a lot less boring, so that's okay!"
