"Alright, alright!! Jesus.. fucking Christ." I yelled as he sloppily walked over to the door.

It was late into the morning, and I was too tired and unbothered to wake up at the actual morning announcement 3 hours ago. When he got up, he didn't even bother to change or fix his frizzy cloud of tangled hair, opening the door with a bang, revealing an eager kokichi who rushed in and shut the door.

"Alright, it's t- oh wow, Cotton Candy.. you look like crap." Kokichi stated, and Ranmaru only sighed and walked over to the table, brushing his hair as Kokichi spoke.

"Cmonn... it's coming up to when we should be waiting for Gonta to start hunting people! He spent all night working and didn't sleep a wink, so he's on overdrive!!" Kokichi cheered.

"It still feels very wrong to be lying to him. He's too pure." Ranmaru sighed quietly as he finished up and entered his wardrobe to change in private.

"Oh, who cares!! He's too empty headed to care! I bet you by the end of the day, he'll have forgotten all about why he did that.. bug meeting.. or whatever." Kokichi told him from outside the door.

Eventually, the two teenagers were both leaving the dormitory as quietly as they could, not wanting anyone to see them sneaking about. They both quickly made it to in front of Gonta's ultimate lab, and when they entered, Ranmaru's jaw hit the floor. The shelves had been completely emptied of their contents, and curtains of bugs were neatly organised around the walls of the room. In the centre was a happy Gonta, eagerly smiling at his work.

"Oh! Hello Kokichi & Ranmaru, Gonta just finished making bug meet and greet!" Gonta waved to the two, who stood awkwardly at the entrance.

"Wow! Gonta, this looks extraordinary!! And just in time for the meet and greet, how about you start bringing people over so we can start the fun!!" Kokichi suggested and walked over to Gonta.

"Ah! That great idea, Kokichi! Gonta will go find others now for bug meet and greet!!" Gonta replied he immediately sprinted out of the room in lightning speed, and Kokichi sat down on the fake grass and crossed his legs. He patted the spot next to him, and Ranmaru collapsed into a sitting position on the grass.

'Sigh... this is gonna be a long wait...'

A long wait it was. The two sat in the exact same position for over 2 hours, waiting for the other ultimates to be brought so they could collect the motive videos. So far, most of them were there besides Ryoma, Miu, Maki, Kaito, and Kirumi. The only other thing that caught his attention was Shuichi, who had apparently been knocked out. Out of the pair sitting in the centre, Kokichi did all the talking, while Ranmaru remained in his thoughts.

Eventually, Shuichi began to stir, and Kokichi giggled as he crawled over to look over him, scaring Shuichi when he woke up seeing Kokichi's face above his. He sat up quickly and looked around.

"Is... is this..?" Shuichi murmered as he looked around.

"Oh, you're awake? This is the ultimate entomologist research lab." Tsumugi stated as she walked closer to the blue haired boy. Others walked closer into the group as well, while I chose to perch myself against the large tree in the room, with Kokichi also relaxing next to me.
