It was the last of the three concerts.All the planning and practice showed in the perfection of their performances.
Jimin had performed his new song to rapturous applause,as the song ended tonight he called out to the crowd,
"Did you like it?"
"Oooh I liked it ,"a familiar voice said and he saw Jungkook smirking walking back on stage with the others for the next song.
Squeals came from the crowd as Jungkook stopped next to Jimin and did a heart sign to him.
Jimin laughed sure that jungkook was playing to the fans and cameras.
All through the next song Jungkook played up to shouts of 'Jikook', throwing his arm around the other and singing right up to his face,even holding his hand in his when they bowed.
Walking off stage finally Jimin fanned his hot embarrassed face.
"Wow the fans are really shouting out for Jikook today!"
"That's because Jungkook played up to it!"
"I just go with the flow...." Jungkook said staring at the smaller male.
"Well........At least you can have a rest from fan service now the concerts are done." Jimin said a fake smile on his face,it had been nice to pretend for a while.
"Yer now you'll just have to put up with me driving you around.."
Jimin looked confused at him.
"Have you forgotten ...the break.....we are going on a road trip!!!!!"
"You weren't joking?"
"Why would I ,it will be nice everyone else is doing something and now we are too."
"Go on Jimin it will do you good to get away"
Cheered on by the rest of his band mates Jimin nodded hesitantly.
"So I'll pick you up at ten thirty tomorrow then,"
"Tomorrow....,but I haven't packed or anything!"
"Just. Throw some bits in a case we can always buy more if needed...,sun glasses and mask,don't want to be stopped by fans..."
The cars arrived and Tae,Jimin and Jungkook got in one while the others paired up in two other cars.
Jungkook closed his eyes and seemed to fall asleep.
"Jimin your quiet,what's up?"
Jimin slid a glance at Jungkook who gave a little snore,
"Tae don't you think it's weird me going with Jungkook?"
"No...why is it?"
"Well you two are close it should be with you?"
"I have plans already and I told you there is no Taekook..."
"There's no Jikook either.....do you think he's doing this to be fake news for fans,I mean I'm sometimes not sure if I disgust him...b-being gay and all,like he's afraid to catch it....I don't want him to feel uncomfortable  just because he had a moment of weakness and invited me to go..."
"Don't be silly Jimin....is this why you changed?"
"Changed?"
"Well you were fun,flirty then you took a step back from us..."
"I realised Jungkook was not happy with how I was,I got caught up in the whole Jikook ship....i always thought I was intelligent but it took him throwing me away to see I'm not to everyone's taste.....,I had to find a place to fit in where I wasn't causing someone trouble."
"Jimin we were all growing up,Kook was a bit introverted back then,you were just a touchy huggy kind of person,he probably regretted being so hard on you...."
"No I'm sure although we have been together so long I can't  go back to how I was,he's been comfortable with me at a distance which is why I'm worried about this trip,it could so easily go wrong and then cause a bad atmosphere in the group...?"
Tae frowned he could see how worried Jimin was but didn't see any problem.
He kicked Jungkooks leg causing him to open his eyes.
"What?"
"Jimins worried you two won't get on and it will cause disharmony in the group...."
"Tae!!"
Jungkook unbeknownst to the other two had been awake the whole time listening,he faced Jimin
"You worry over nothing....im looking forward to reconnecting with you so that we can become.....close"
His eyes glinted with a hidden meaning Jimin couldn't guess at.
He twisted his fingers together surprised when Jungkook held them in one of large hands.
"Don't fret on ifs or maybe just take it as a fun trip ok?"
Jimin bit his bottom lip a habit he had when nerves hit but it made Jungkook want to suck on its plumpness.
"Ok..." Jimin finally said just as they arrived at his place,he got out nodding to them both but mumbling about packing and sorting stuff out.
Once the car drove off Tae laughed,
"I bet you anything he'll phone in the morning saying he can't go!"
"Well it would be wrong of me not to help him pack at such short notice,I think I'll go over tonight he can't refuse then!"
"Ah Kook you devious man,I like your style,enjoy your time getting to know Jimin....is that going to be as friends or....." Tae asked eyebrow raised.
"That's for me to know..." Jungkook smirked,his friend knew him so well.
"Well as a friend I'm telling you,don't hurt him..."
"Message understood..." Jungkook said as they came to a stop at his home.
"Enjoy your trip..." Tae shouted before the car door closed and drove off.
Jungkook sorted his apartment showered and changed picked up his already packed suitcase and grinning got in his car and drove to Jimin's .
Ringing the bell he contained his mirth when Jimin dressed in cute pjs answered the door.
"Jungkook....what...?"
"I thought why not stay here tonight and we can make an early start in the morning..."
Jimin gulped he'd planned on pretending to feel ill so wouldn't go but now...."
"Have you already packed your case?" Jungkook asked innocently already knowing the answer.
"I erm....."
"It's ok I'll help come on....."
Jimin was dragged to his room closets opened and a case found.Jungkook just pulled things from various areas and the case was packed in no time.
"There you go just your wash stuff to put in tomorrow ."
"Um...thanks.....have you eaten? I can make something?"
"Let's both make something..."'Jungkook gripped Jimins hand pulling him to the kitchen. He explored the fridge and cupboards handing Jimin some veg to cut while he got pots and pans out and meat.
There was a yelp and Jimin held his bleeding finger.
"What did you do!"
Jungkook rushed over and without thinking sucked Jimin's finger into his mouth. Jimin looked shocked and felt a tingle in his body as the others tongue lapped the wound.
He suddenly pulled it away," I-it's fine"
Jungkook saw the confusion in the others face and let him off.
"You just sit I'll do it,"
Soon wonderful aromas filled the kitchen and Jimin's stomach made a loud rumbling noise.
"Good your hungry I expect you to fill up..."
Jimin ate plenty sitting back and puffing a sigh out.
"Im stuffed!"
"I'll wash up you go sit down,"
"No you're the guest...oh gosh I need to make up the guest room I stripped it off after Tae and Jin used it but haven't remade the bed....!"
"It's fine I'll sleep with you..."
"What .....?"
"It's not like we haven't been in bed together before and it will save you putting on new bedding ."
"It's fine I ca....."
"I insist," Jungkook said catching hold of Jimins chin and staring him out.
Jimin nodded he shyly pulled away and sat on the sofa waiting for Jungkook.He put the tv on not really interested but needed something to concentrate on,but soon the droning voices had his eyes fluttering shut and he fell asleep.
Jungkook came into the sitting room smiling as he saw Jimin's comatose figure.
"How come I never realised how shy you are under that pretend flirtiness?" He murmured.
He stared down into the others face seeing how innocent the other looked then his eyes were drawn to Jimin's full lips which even pouted in his sleep.
Carefully leaning down he lightly placed his lips on the others surprised when a tingling warmth spread through him.He wanted to press harder to get a response but stopped himself.
Instead he carefully picked the other up and carried him to the bedroom placing him into the bed then used the bathroom before coming back and sliding in also spooning lightly against Jimin.
He gently put his arm around the other and sighed contentedly before falling asleep.
