The break came to an end..for Jimin he knew he would have a hard time ahead as Jungkook wasn't ready to accept possibilities...but Jimin had seen his weakness and had plans.
The last couple of days he'd taken a certain amount of satisfaction that Jungkook didn't like him to stay far,keeping close as they walked on the beach or ate out,steering Jimin in another direction if anyone dared to give him a second glance.
They pulled up at Jimins place.
"You want a coffee before you go?"
"Go..?"
"Well we are back now,I'm sure like me you have things to catch up on?"
"Er yer...right,so I'd better go huh...let me get your case."
Jimin could see Jungkook was fighting with an inner dilemma of should he stay or go,
"Well thanks Jungkook it was certainly an interesting break..."
"Er yer,right,well erm thanks for coming..."
Looking quickly around Jungkook pulled Jimin close claiming his lips but Jimin pulled back.
"Better get used to normality sooner rather than later Kookie...."
"Yer right...bye..."
Jungkook frowned as he got back in his car...this just felt...wrong.
Jimin took his case inside emptying it and putting his washing on,he quickly dusted around then went to a local convenience store to buy food.
At home he cooked a quick meal showered then sat on his bed checking emails.
The group had been nominated for an award and the show organisers wanted Jimin to do a dance off with Taemin.
A devious smile came to Jimin's lips....he sent back a yes then snorted with laughter,Jungkook wouldn't be happy at the news.
He set his alarm as they all had a meeting tomorrow to discuss the award ceremony.
Turning the light off Jimin lay down but it took him a while to fall asleep as he'd gotten used to hugging a certain warm virile body.
Jungkook opened a beer flopping onto his sofa to read his emails.
He frowned as he read the one about Jimin's dance off, no,no way of course Jimin wouldn't do it he scoffed.
Gulping his beer down he hung some washing he'd done to dry then went to bed,he couldn't get comfy and kept tossing and turning,damn Jimin I could have stayed tonight! He punched his pillow then eventually fell asleep.
"So I hope you all had a good break but now it's back to work " the manager said," Jimin I see you have agreed to the dance off,I'll schedule a meet up to discuss the plans."
"Your going to do the dance off?":
"Sure Kookie,why not the fans have asked for it?" Jimin said oh so innocently.
"It's a great idea Kook,they are both such good performers"Hobi said
"Well er if we have to perform and Jimin has to do that too he might get tired," Jungkook said evasively
"I'll build up my stamina don't worry Kookie I am a professional."
"Aw it's cute Kook for you to worry about others,personally I can't wait to see the chemistry between them," Jin said
This remark had Jungkook poking his tongue in his cheek.
"So we are performing too,Jimin it's a lot of practice..." Namjoon said worriedly
"But it's my job..." Jimin insisted
"On that note let's get to the gym a week of laziness takes its toll guys,hurry up!" Tae yelled
"Do you have to sound so pleased?" Suga groaned
"Jimin stay back we need to sort a schedule out."
Jimin nodded sitting down again..The others left going to the lift to go to the company Gym.
Jungkook aggressively lifted weights anger giving him an incentive.
"Woah! Your eager.." Jin exclaimed as he half heartedly exercised.
"Drop it Jin," the other muttered
"Hmmm not eager...angry...what's up?"
"Nothing,"
"Righto...don't wanna talk about it,well I'm here if you need me..."
Jungkook stopped his exercise and looked at his friend and colleague,
"Sorry I'm grumpy,I didn't sleep well,"
"It's ok,we all have off days..."
"Jin what if something annoyed you about someone but if you told them they would get annoyed at you?
"Hmm,I suppose I'd weigh up the pros and cons,is it really my business and what good will come of it."
"But...well even if it's not my business shouldn't I look out for them?"
"Depends on your motive...are you really doing it for their sake or because you and only you don't like it?"
A faint blush hit Jungkooks face.He couldn't say it was because he didn't want Taemin getting close to Jimin could he...that would be....possessive ?
He sighed," never mind....it was just a thought."
At that moment Jimin walked into the gym dressed in shorts and vest top .Jungkooks heart rate rose.
Jimin pretending to warm up deliberately bent over near Jungkook.
He heard a smothered groan then turned innocently as he stretched up allowing his top to rise too.
"Did you say something Kookie?"
"What...er no...so what did you plan with the manager?"
"Oh Taemin will work on his song,I'm going to do Lie,we will practice a dance routine as the last part."
"So you only need to get together for the last song,that's good," Jungkook said feeling better about it
"Well theoretically,as we both know the routine to our own songs but once we have learned the last dance we probably will practice the whole routine to get the timing right," Jimin said with a smile then added," but that's ok ,we meet a lot anyway."
Jungkook got irritated again.
"Hey Tae I'll run next to you," Jimin said to his friend going over to an empty running machine.
Jungkook watched his back view then his strong thighs as he ran,remembering what they felt like wrapped around him.
"Helloooo,earth to Jungkook?!?!"
Namjoon stood next to him.
"Oh ...sorry did you say something?"
"Yer help me pull weights,"
Jungkook reluctantly took his gaze off Jimin and went with Namjoon,adding a weight every now and then as Namjoon pulled the cords.
"So Jimin,wanna shop after this?"
"What for?"
"Clothes?"
"Tae you have so many!"
"But I like choosing them,"
"We might get mobbed?"
"Nope I've booked an hour at one of my favourites,no hassle just us,"
"I suppose I could update my stuff some of it's a bit baggy."
"See I knew you'd do it,ok let's go clean up and go,this lot won't miss us..."
"Wasn't it you who insisted we come here?"
Tae smirked," now I'm insisting we go come on."
The two slipped out showering and dressing quickly before making it to the lift as a disgruntled Jungkook came through the door looking around.
"Hey!"
"By Kook I'm stealing Jimin," Tae shouted as the lift door closed on the giggling pair.
"Damn it!" Jungkook swore.
Jimin had forgotten what fun it was to shop with Tae,he was soon the owner of several sexy shirts a black pair of ripped jeans and two fitted jeans.
"We should go out tonight," Tae said
"Where?"
"A bar or restaurant I don't mind,I want to wear my new clothes,"
"Come back to mine we can go from there later," Jimin said.
"Sure..."
Jimin and Tae unpacked their shopping bargains deciding what to wear that night as they looked to see what they preferred Jimin's doorbell went so he left to answer.
"Oh Jungkoook...."
"Is that all you can say? I've been ringing you!"
"Have you ....ooops! I left it on silent I put it on that at the meeting this morning ,"
"Why did you leave,what did you and Tae get up to?"
At that moment Tae walked out of the bedroom topless holding a shirt.
"Oh Jungkook..."
"Oh Jungkook ?why are you undressed in Jimins bedroom?" He said through gritted teeth
"Calm down Kookie..."
"Jeez Kook you sound like a jealous boyfriend !"
Jimin bit his bottom lip trying not to laugh,instead raising his eyebrow at Jungkook as if to say.Respond if you dare!
