Wake up...Steven, it's time to wake up. Steven opened his eyes to find Christine standing over him with a smile on her face. "It's good that you're awake because we're finally here," she announced. Steven rubbed his eyes and looked out the window, noticing the vast campus of the college they had just arrived at.

"I forgot I was just dreaming about earlier today, but dang this place is huge! Is this the college?" Steven thought to himself. Auntie White, Christine's mother, chuckled at his reaction. "I can tell your mind is racing, my starlight. But don't worry, I have a surprise for you," she said.

"An apartment?" Steven asked incredulously. "Don't you think that's a bit much for just one person?" Auntie White reassured him that nothing was too much for her darling Starlight and mentioned a surprise waiting for him in the apartment.

After a short drive, they arrived at a newly built apartment building. Steven was surprised by the luxurious building in front of him. As they approached the apartment, Auntie White stopped him and mentioned that he had a roommate.

"A roommate?" Steven asked, intrigued. Before Auntie White could explain further, the front door swung open, revealing his new roommate standing in the doorway.

Steven's eyes widened as he saw a girl standing in front of them. "Little one?! White said I thought I told you to wait," his mother, Christine, scolded.

"Sorry Mom, but I couldn't help hearing voices outside the house," the girl replied. She looked over at Steven, her eyes widening in surprise. "Uh... Christine... Is this..."

"Yes, that is your roommate. Spinel Stile, little one, this is Steven Universe," Christine introduced.

Spinel extended her hand towards Steven. "So this is my cousin, huh? Nice to meet you."

"Cousin?" Steven echoed, feeling bewildered.

"It's a lot to explain, but I'm more aware of the little one telling you," Christine explained cryptically.

Steven's thoughts raced as he tried to process the information. "So, this is my cousin? Wait, did Christine have a secret child?"

Spinel interrupted his thoughts with a bright smile. "Steven, huh? That's a cute name, but I'm calling you Stevie."

"Uh-oh-okay," Steven responded, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sudden revelation of family ties.

Christine interjected, sensing the tension. "You two can talk about this later. Or I guess you can say you two can talk about the house."

Steven tried to protest, but Spinel cut in excitedly. "That's great! Finally, I got more family now!"

Steven was taken aback by her enthusiasm. "Huh!?"

Spinel grabbed his hand, pulling him towards her. "Don't worry."

Steven felt a mix of confusion and curiosity as he followed Spinel. Christine reassured him, "That's great. Don't worry, Steven. But for now, go and get to know your cousin."

"Uh, okay, but..." Steven began to protest again.

Spinel cut him off, "Don't worry."

As they walked away, Steven couldn't shake off the feeling of unease and curiosity about his newfound cousin and the mysterious family secrets that seemed to be unraveling before him.

Spinel grabbed Steven's hand, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she led him toward his new home. Steven, feeling a mixture of confusion and curiosity, allowed himself to be guided by her.
