Vaggie sat quietly on Lizzie's bed while Lizzie paced around her room. She looked just like Charlie did that morning before they called Lucifer. Her hair was a mess, due to her running her fingers through it a lot. Lizzie's eyes were twitching a bit due to the worried, and stress, Vaggie placed on her.

"I don't understand," Lizzie rambled to herself. "You guys have been dating for three years. I thought you would have told her by now because you two love each other so much. Charlie shares everything with you: her hopes, her dreams, what kind of fucking deodorant she likes to use." Vaggie opened her mouth to say something but Lizzie wouldn't let her get a word in. "But this is so fucking huge because she doesn't know you used to be an angel, which will look bad on me too because I'm the bitch of a sister that kept this from her this whole time. To be fair, I assumed you already told her and you guys just never brought it up. And I should be angry with you because I spilled everything about me to the others, yet, you kept this to yourself this whole time. I mean, I get why you're fucking scared of what Charlie might say but I know my sister and she wouldn't be mad at you. The only thing that will piss her off is the fact that you kept this from her."

Vaggie nearly jumped back when Lizzie's hair blew around her as she let out a stressed laugh. She quickly got up and placed her hand on Lizzie's shoulders to stop her. "I know. I don't know what to do."

"Listen, as long as you don't see those dicks then everything should be fine," Lizzie let out a nervous laugh as if she didn't jinx them. She took a deep breath to calm herself down. "I do wish I could go with you guys. My best friend is in Heaven and I have no way of contacting her. When they banished me, they cut all communication."

"What did happen during your banishment?" Vaggie couldn't help but wonder.

"It was so...strange. I was just having a regular day until Sera summoned me. It was just us in the room when she told me that my dad was really my dad, not Adam."

Vaggie's eye widened. "Just you two?"

"Yeah, I'm assuming she did it because we were friends and didn't want to embarrass me." Lizzie exhaled. "Sera said they can't have me there because they thought I would start an fucking uprising. I didn't think I cried so hard in my life because they were my people, my friends. Never in my goddamn life have I ever thought of that. She didn't even give me a second to defend myself because...Fuck, this was news to me too! I didn't even get a minute to process it before they ripped my wings and sent me down here."

"I'm sorry you had to go through that alone," Vaggie said. "Maybe I should have done something when I realized you were gone. But Adam ordered -"

Lizzie placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I'm not blaming you."

"I used to babysit you during some executions."

"Yeah, well, Adam wanted someone to witness how awesome his fucking kid turned out to be," Lizzie finished while mimicking him. "Some kid, right?" She pulled out her phone when she got a message from Angel that told her to meet him in the lobby. "Look, whatever happens, happens. All you have to do is help Charlie finish packing and I'll meet you downstairs."

"Packing? We're only going for a day."

"This is Charlie's first time in Heaven, trust me, she's bouncing around the walls because she fucking excited."

Vaggie let out a nervous breath but the duo left anyway. Lizzie made her way to the lobby as Angel plopped himself on the couch, back and holes aching from the 16-hour work Valentino put him through. Angel groaned as he held up a bouquet.

"Here," his voice muffled from his face shoved into the pillow, ready to get some well-deserved rest.

"Aw, Angie, these are lovely," Lizzie said as she grabbed them. "You didn't have to."
