Extermination Day is just a day away. Everyone at the hotel was preparing for battle. They were either swinging their weapons around or sparing with each other. Vaggie had one group in front of her as she informed them where to strike the angels if they ever came near. Lizzie was happily handing out weapons and finger food to the cannibals Charlie recruited.
"Oh, I wish my mom were here to see this," Charlie sighed sadly.
Vaggie watched Lizzie wave to another cannibal as she tested the ax. "The cannibals seem ready to fight," she said while Lizzie walked toward them. "Are we?"
Sir Pentious burst through the hotel doors wearing a Victorian-style army uniform. "Fear not, damsels," he said while standing tall and proud. "I shall have the staff ready for victorious combat!"
Lizzie held her hand over her mouth to hold back a giggle while Charlie smiled with sparkles around her. "What in the hell are you supposed to be?" Vaggie asked.
Pentious saluted. "General Pentious, reporting for duty. I'll turn those rapscallions into soldiers in no time at all!"
"Thanks, Penny," Lizzie said. "I'll definitely be giving you my friends and family discount when you decide to buy again."
His eyes widened. "You're going to work for Carmilla again?" Lizzie nodded. Sir Pentious's eyes watered before he crushed Lizzie into his arms, lifting her a few feet off the ground. "I miss buying from you, Lizzie!"
Niffty had a murderous glint in her eyes. "What can I do to help?" she asked as she held two dead rodents.
"I'm glad, you asked, soldier. The base needs fortifications. Reinforce the southern wall!" Pentious used his staff to draw a circle around her. "Create a moat around the perimeter to stop a ground assault."
Niffty looked up at Sir Pentious in confusion because she had no idea what he just said.
Charlie knelt at her level. "How about this? If you see an angel, stab it!" She handed Niffty a small blade.
Niffty took the shiny blade. She saw Angel Dust not that far from him and laughed evilly, thinking stabbing Angel was what Charlie meant. "Stab! Stab! Stab!"
Lizzie's eyes widened when she saw Niffty charging at Angel, who climbed up the pole while shouting, "Hey, hey, hey, hey!"
She ran over and blocked Niffty. "Not him!"
Niffty ran off in another direction while laughing. Angel flipped and landed on the ground before he and Lizzie went to stand with Charlie, Sir Pentious, and Vaggie.
Vaggie stood before the crowd and said in her sergeant's voice, "Listen up, sinners! We've got 24 hours before the extermination begins. Let's get to work."

Charlie gathered everyone around. "Hello," she began then tapped on Alastor's microphone. "I want to thank everyone for coming. Even people who aren't staying here yet...Cherri."
Cherri shrugged her shoulders. "Look, I can't resist a fight, ok?" she explained. She pulled Angel closer to her side, who smiled at her. "Especially when I get to tag team with this fuckhead."
"Tomorrow, the Exorcist Angels will face a Hell ready to defend itself and win!"
Vaggie's the only one who raises her arm to cheer on her girlfriend. "Yeah! Yeah, we will! Tell 'em, baby!"
"Yes! And we are - we are going to win! But in case we don't, I want you all to know... that getting to know you has been the biggest honor of my life. Whatever redemption really means, I know you all tried. I have seen the good in all of you. And it's...I-I'm just...I love you all, so much, and-and live tonight however you want because -"
