Twenty-Three

It has been one eventful night for Lizzie. Unfortunately, it isn't about saving the Hazbin Hotel. Lizzie got a call from Stolas last night. She was going to say her hello but she froze when she heard him sniffling on the other end. Lizzie immediately portaled to his mansion to see what's upset her friend. Stolas spent the majority of the night talking about his breakup with Blitzø. Lizzie was so pissed off that her demonic side was starting to show before marching off to kill Blitzø.

Stolas quickly pulled her close to his chest from behind and asked her to stay. His heart might have been broken, yet he doesn't want to see the Imp dead by the Princess of Hell. All he wanted was his best friend there for him to help keep his mind off Blitzø. Lizzie couldn't only smile at him sadly but gave in to his request. As much as she wants to annihilate Blitzø, shake him furiously to ask him what the fuck is wrong with him before cutting his dick off, she knew Stolas needed her more.

First, to try to get him to laugh, she called the Imp every possible insult and cursed words she could think of. After, she told Stolas that he's a catch and he'll find someone who loves him for him. It only helped, just a smidge, so Lizzie thought it would be a good idea to tell him her truth. She told him everything that happened during Extermination Day and why Adam and the Exorcists wanted to kill her. She even came clean about losing her virginity to Alastor.

Funny how learning about Lizzie's mother is really Eve and not Lilith isn't what peaked Stolas's interest, it was learning that Lizzie fucked her idol. Stolas usually would have been happy but something about it felt way off to him. Whenever Lizzie would talk about Alastor, there wasn't even the slightest hint that Alastor is attracted to her. Especially the way Lizzie described Alastor in the sack. Stolas imagined the man who would take Lizzie's virginity away would love and cherish her, not treat her like some whore. Yet, Lizzie was giddy about it and felt happy. She went as far as to admitting that she craved more, which worried him. It didn't add to the fact that Lizzie is hiding another secret from everyone. She couldn't tell Stolas or Charlie because she would have felt ashamed for what she's doing. It's one of those situations where she knows it's wrong, but it feels so right.

Now, Stolas wanted to voice his concerns to Lizzie, except he knew she wouldn't listen unless he had solid evidence. It was difficult for him because he close to never goes to the Pride Ring and never met Alastor. There is that very rare chance that Alastor really cares about Lizzie in the romantic level. Yet, that was only wishful thinking.

Stolas could only nod and listen. That heartbreak he felt earlier was soon replaced by a drunken rage, thanks to the alcohol they were consuming earlier. He did tell Lizzie how happy he was that everything worked out for her and hopefully he could visit the hotel one day, mostly to check out her so-called idol. Lizzie was ecstatic about the idea before Stolas gave this big speech, that was more like a vow, about making sure no one breaks her heart like how Blitzø broke his. The two hugged it out and one thing led to another....

They ended up having sex on his couch.

Imagine how embarrassed Stolas felt waking up with Lizzie in his arms. It wasn't the embarrassment from sleeping with her, it was from him not holding himself back and pounced on her. He felt ashamed because he practically used her. Stolas felt this huge wave of betrayal on his part because he slept with his best friend and didn't remember if she wanted to or not. He grew more worried when he saw the dry tear stains on her cheeks that he fell off if the couch in shock, waking Lizzie up.

Lizzie looked at him confused when Stolas grabbed her shoulders and started spewing apology after apology. When Lizzie laughed, it was his turn to be confused. Lizzie smiled and said that she wasn't sure how she could cheer him up until he jumped on her. She wasn't even angry with him. Lizzie was more than overjoyed when it happened which made Stolas let out a breath in relief until he remembered her puffy eyes. Lizzie told him the truth and called him an animal, not that she's complaining. She enjoyed her friend being on top for a change.
