Lizzie didn't want to let Stolas go as they hugged goodbye but Charlie needed her to help Vaggie. Alastor wasn't wrong about Carmilla not wanting to help unless it's coming from Lizzie, but even the other Princess of Hell doesn't know if it'll be enough. Lizzie made sure to leave goodbye letters to Blitzo and everyone at I.M.P., she asked Stolas to give it to them if anything were to happen to her.
When she arrived at Carmilla Carmine's house she wanted to laugh upon seeing Vaggie yelling at the security camera with her arms outstretched. "I know what you did on extermination day. We can talk about it inside, or I can yell about it out here!"
"She won't answer if you keep yelling like that," Lizzie chuckled. Vaggie growled as Lizzie stood next to her with a grin. "She might fucking kill you instead." Vaggie kept muttering under her breath. "Who twisted your tit this morning?"
"You're fucking best friend," Vaggie grumbled. "He made a deal with Charlie. That's the only reason why we're here."
"Charlie sold her soul?" Lizzie breathed.
"Well, no...not exactly. She said it was just a favor but with Alastor -" Vaggie held her arm. "I don't want him to use her. I know you worship the ground he walks on and everything..."
"Woah, woah, woah." Lizzie waved her hands around. "Vaggie, I might idolize Alastor. But there's so much to it that you don't understand." She took a few steps away from her. "During one of the Exterminations, I heard one of is broadcasts. The way he talked brought comfort to me that I hadn't felt in years. I stole one of the radios and took it to Heaven just to hear his voice. Listening to him every day brought some kind of comfort to me. And if it weren't for Alastor then I don't think I would have still been broken...damaged...suffering. For fucks sake, I think I would have turned out just like Adam."
Lizzie turned back around with a promising look. "If Alastor uses Charlie in any way that I don't like, I'll kill him myself. He might be an Overlord but he is not as powerful as everyone claims him to be, even I know that."
Dad could kill him. Or Stolas. Or Ozzy. If I want him to die with style then I would ask Beel, Lizzie thought.
"I put my family first. Above everyone else." Vaggie smiled at her proclamation. She felt relieved when Lizzie said she would kill Alastor if he crossed the line. Lizzie cleared her throat before walking back to Carmilla's door. She smiled at the camera and waved. "Hi, Ms. Carmine, are you busy? I...we need to talk to you. It's of utmost importance."
"Since when do you get so formal?" Vaggie asked as the doors opened.
"I always am with Ms. Carmine. She might be selling weapons and such, but I respect her."
The girls walked inside. "She must really like you if she opened the door right away."
Lizzie shrugged as the door slammed shut. "I do my job and don't piss her off like the others."
"Which is why I'm giving you two minutes to convince me not to silence you for good," Carmilla's voice echoed in the house, her threat directed at Vaggie. There was a dramatic sound on a guitar before a spotlight shone on Carmilla, who was on the second floor.
Vaggie took a deep breath. "Miss Carmine, I'm here on appointment from the princess to enlist your aid in the defense of Hell from the angelic extermination. We know an angel fell at your hands and we need to know how."
Carmilla narrowed her eyes at them. "No!"
Vaggie was flabbergasted. "What do you mean, no? The princess of hell -"
"Means nothing to me. You have to do better than that. 90 seconds."
"With your knowledge, we wouldn't have to helplessly stand by while -"
