Gaege's POV:
Long story short, the boys and I are trying to kill one specific person so we can live in peace until we're all dead. This person has tried for years to get rid of us first, but we have always managed to slip away from his fingers. Somehow, he always finds our secret hideouts and manages to attack while we are off our game. So that meant we had to keep looking for places to camp until sunset. Over the past few months, we have been planning on many ways to kill him, and I think today's the day. "Boys. Are we ready?" Grant asks us. Josh and William are close to each other while Eddie and I are too. "Of course we are. Look how many months we have planned to do this and today's the day we seek our revenge. We get in there. Kill him, and we're done. Sounds easy, right?" I say confidently. I can feel Eddie's eyes on me, admiring my confidence. "Yeah, but what if the plan goes downhill like all the other fifty times. It doesn't always work like that, you know." Josh replies with doubt. My smile turns into a frown, agreeing with Josh's statement. "Look, as long as we have weapons and each other, we're fine." Eddie says, huddling everyone into a circle. "I'm not going anywhere until I have all of you. Dead or alive. I'm not leaving by myself." Eddie added, looking at me when he said the last part. We all grabbed our guns and headed towards the truck driving to his lair. Once we got there, we managed to sneak past his cameras and head round the back. I saw a woman in a military outfit and instantly knew he brought back up. I snuck up behind her and stabbed her in the neck. Eddie gave me a thumbs up saying I did a good job. I nodded back, and we continued further. There were only two bodyguards, so William and Grant took care of them as they were the stronger ones out of me, Eddie and Josh. Finally, we made it to his private lair. This place was huge, so we checked every single room. No one. Out of nowhere, shots were being fired at us. We all instantly knew who it was. Luckily, there were four boxes that we could hide behind and attempt to shoot at him. I missed every shot. My mind was at war. All I could hear were shots and everything being messed up and destroyed. "Shit! I'm nearly out of ammo! Has anyone gotten any!?" I yelled to the rest of the group. "I'm nearly out too, bro!" William shouts from far ahead. I thought we were done for. This guy was still shooting at us, and I didn't even see him reload once. "What the fuck are we gonna do!? How are we gonna kill this guy!? It's like he is bulletproof!" Josh exclaims reloading his gun. Before I could even blink, I saw a shot being fired at Eddie. I wasn't quick enough to cover him, so he got shot in his chest but not in the heart from what I could tell. "Eddie!" I yell, jumping towards his side, grabbing onto him. "Gaege.." I heard him whisper. "It's okay, Eddie, you'll be okay." I cry, pulling apart of my shirt and wrapping it around the bullet wound. He whinced slightly, grabbing my wrist. I slowly pulled him towards my chest, praying to God he wasn't going to die. "No, no, I can't lose you. Not yet." I say to myself. I feel his arms wrap around my back. "You know.. when we started all this, I knew that you were always gonna be there for me.. and I'm so glad that I have you in my life.. I love you so much.." Eddie quietly says. "I love you too, Eddie. Let's just focus on you right now." I reassured, finding something to help with his wound. I could feel his pulse weakening, which made me panic even more. "GUYS!! We need to get out of here now!!" I yell as they all huddled around me and Eddie. Grant picks up Eddie as we all run behind him back into the truck. I climbed into the back seat with Eddie lying on my lap. We sped out of there and headed back to the hideout. I was focused on Eddie's heartbeat, making sure he wasn't dying. His eyes were slowly closing, so I kept telling him not to. "Please, Eddie, stay with me. We're almost there." I said, rubbing his face and holding onto his hand. Eddie looked up at me and gave me a weak smile. I slowly bent down and kissed him on the forehead, which made his pale cheeks slightly turn pink. That made my hopes higher for his safety. We finally made it back as William picked him up and sent him to our own hospital in case any of us are seriously injured. Grant did most of the work trying to fix Eddie's wound and stabilise his heartbeat. He told us that he would be fine and that he wasn't going to die, which made me sigh in relief. After Grant was done sewing Eddie's chest back up, I immediately went to check up on him. "Hey, how you feeling?" I asked, sitting down next to him and grabbing a hold of his hand. "Better, actually. All thanks to you guys." He says weakily. He leans into me and rests his head on my shoulder. I place my cheek on his head closing my eyes ready to fall asleep already. "I'm just glad you're alive." I simply say kissing him on the forehead one more time. He looks up at me and slowly leans closer to me. I do the same as we felt our lips touch. His hands slowly wrap around my waist as we melt into the kiss. It felt amazing. We didn't want to stop but we had to when Josh called us from base camp. We both pulled away and left the room hand in hand. I'm just glad Eddie is alive and is still with us. But that means we have to figure out another plan to kill this guy. He isn't going to get away with it.
