Eddie's POV:
Apparently, there's a new student joining the school. And it isn't a girl. Thank God. Can't stand girls. All they look in a guy is looks. I hate that. Yes, I might be classed as the hottest guy in school, but I don't want anyone from this shithole. "Yo Eddie, how it's going bro?" My best friend shows up, dapping me up. "Wassup, I'm doing good. Gotta get to class in a few minutes. What about you?" I asked, getting stuff out of my locker. "I'm actually leaving early." He says, leaning against the lockers. "Really? What for?" I question. "I got a doctors appointment." He answers, grabbing his bag from his locker. "You lucky bastard!" I say, smiling at him. "You damn right, haha, I see you later, bro." He says, giving me a fistbump and heading to reception. I made it to my math class on time and sat in my desk, grabbing my notebook and pen from my backpack, and slumped in my chair, trying to pay attention. Then the door opened, and a cute boy walked through it. He had a black hoodie on paired with blue jeans and some sneakers. He looked like those quiet, but not so nerdy kids, which I like. "Hey, is this Mr Griffin's class?" He asks. The teacher turns around and whispers something to him and points over in my direction. I then realised that he was going to sit next to me as there was an empty desk next to mine. Now's my chance to talk to him. He sits down on the chair and grabs his equipment out of his bag. He is so cute. I can already tell that he was going to be perfect for me. "Hey, what's your name?" He looks over at me nervously, not knowing if he should reply to my question. "It's okay. I'm not one of those bullies in every school movie." I said, trying to make him feel better. It worked as he smiled at me and shook my hand. "My name is Gaege. Yours?" He asked. "Eduardo or Eddie for short." I say with my Mexican accent. His cheeks slightly go red when I said my name. Maybe he is interested in Mexicans. "So, are you new or a transfer?" I ask him. "Umm, I'd say neither of those because I live around here, but I went to a different school for only a few days and then decided to move here." So he means he is new. Huh, I don't get why he couldn't just say that. I ignore the statement and ask him other things. "So since you're new, can I show you around the place after class?" I said. He nods as the class continues. Class ends as we head to the cafeteria for a break. I meet up with Gaege and give him a tour of the whole school. He didn't say much but just listened to what I had to say. I'm already liking him so far. School finally finishes, and it's time to head home. I meet up with Gaege one more time to tell him a few things. "So, how was your first day here?" I say. "It was good. Yeah, everything here is pretty easy to understand, and I found a new friend." He says, pointing to me. I felt myself smile. "Not gonna lie, you're cute. Hope we can be very good friends. Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. See ya." I say waving him bye and walking back home. I'm glad to find someone cute and nice like Gaege.
