Eddie's POV:

Juicy has gotten into a car crash. How did he get himself in that position? I get it's Juicy, but when it comes to driving, he's so serious with it. Fuck, my mind is thinking about the bad thoughts. Then I feel my phone vibrate like crazy. It was the hospital. I immediately answered the phone and put it up to my ear. "Hello?" I ask the other person on the phone. "Hello, is this Eduardo Saucedo?" The receptionist questions. "Yep, that's me." I reply, already feeling tense. "Your friend, Gaege Gibson, is currently in the emergency room after suffering a major car crash. His condition isn't the worst thing we've seen, but it's still quite bad. When police arrived on the scene, it looked like a semi truck had a head-on collision with his car, and that caused him to suffer with blunt head trauma. We don't know if he's mentally or physically stable, but he is currently in a coma and connected to anaesthesia to help his body rest properly. I'm sorry for this terrible news but it's advised for you to come to the hospital as soon as possible." The reception explained. I hung up, not saying another word after what she just said. I feel tears build up in my eyes and some rolling down my cheeks. Why did this have to happen to him? I grab my keys and rush out to my car and basically speed to the hospital, not caring if I get a speeding ticket. My best friend's health is more important. After only a few minutes, I finally got to the hospital. I parked my car and ran into the building and stopped in front of the reception desk. "Excuse me. I'm here to see Gaege Gibson." I ask politely. "Oh, hello, Mr Saucedo. Your friend is in the second emergency room on the third floor." She directs using her hand. I thank her as I jogged to the elevator and went up to the emergency room where he was. I knocked on the door and let myself in before seeing my best friend passed out cold on the bed. His face was pale, and he was covered in scars and bruises. He had some bandages around some parts of his body and a needle stuck in his arm. This wasn't a sight I'd ever want to see. I couldn't tell if he was awake because his eyes were slightly open, but it must be my imagination. "Hey Juicy. It's me. Eddie. The hospital called me to tell me that you got into a really bad car accident." I said softly, grabbing the nearest chair and sitting next to the bed. I grabbed a hold of his unconscious hand and kissed it, wondering if he could at least feel something other than numbness. Nothing. "This isn't what I want to see. I want you to be alive and healthy. Not like this." I whispered, nearly breaking down into more tears. I got up and took a good look at him. I placed my hand on his cheek and caressed it, feeling how cold he was. I moved a piece of his fluffy hair out of the way and gave a kiss on his forehead. "I miss you. I hope you're still doing well. I don't want to lose you. None of the boys do." I say, still holding his hand. Then I felt him squeeze my hand slightly. I turned to face him and saw the most amazing sight ever. He had his eyes open, and he was smiling as soon as he saw me. "Eddie.." He manages to speak. "Juicy. Hey." I say, wiping my tears with my hand. "How are you feeling?" I asked him, holding his hand again. "I just feel sore everywhere, and my head kind of hurts, but overall, I'm fine." He says convincingly. That makes me feel ten times better about his health. "Good, I'm glad." I say, giving him a slight hug, not trying to hurt him. "I don't remember anything, though." He says after I hug him. I instantly get worried. "Okay, do you remember what happened before all this?" I questioned. "Umm, I was driving down the highway and, out of nowhere, this semi truck comes swerving onto the wrong side of the road and crashes into me head first and then everything goes black and I wake up here." He explains. Okay, he doesn't remember what happened after the truck hit him. I'm glad he could remember what happened before he showed up in the hospital. Suddenly, a doctor appears into our room with a clipboard. "Hello, I'm Gaege's doctor, and you are?" He asks me. "Oh, I'm Eddie. Gaege's friend." I reply, shaking his hand. "And what's your full name." He also asks. "Eduardo Saucedo." I reply, looking back at Juicy. He looks at me and gives me a weak wink. It makes me smile before I look back at the doctor. "So your friend here obviously got into a major car crash and has a minor concussion and blunt head trauma. Now his internal organs seem perfectly fine and there isn't any damage to them which is amazing. But he will need to stay in the hospital for one day until he is stable and ready to go home. Is that alright with you, Mr Saucedo?" He says, waiting for my answer. "Yeah, of course it is." I replied, still looking at Juicy. "Okay, thank you for that. I will be back soon. If you need anything, press that blue button above the bed, and a nurse will show up if you have any concerns." He smiles before leaving the room. Visiting time is nearly over, so I made the most out of it by talking to Juicy and making sure he was alright. A nurse comes into the room and tells me to leave as visiting time is over. I understand as I drove back home to pick him up in the morning. The next morning, it's time to pick Juicy up. I drove back to the hospital and told the receptionist what I'm going to do. I rush to the elevator and go back into Juicy's room. I opened the door and found him looking way better than he did yesterday. "Hey Juicy. How are you feeling now?" I ask him, walking over to the chair by the bed and sitting next to him. "I'm feeling much better, but my body is aching a lot, but my head doesn't hurt anymore, so that's a good sign." He explains, looking way happier. "I can tell you look way better, and I'm glad." I say. Then the same doctor appears again. "Hello again. We just did some tests on Gaege, and he is perfectly fine to go back home with a supervisor, of course. Will you care for him for a week and see how it goes." He asks. "Of course I will." I reply confidently. "Lovely, that's all, and if there's anything serious, then call the reception, and we'll sort it out right away." He says before leaving the room. I helped Juicy get changed in proper clothes and led him down to the car. He had his hand around my arm to use as support so he could walk properly. We made it to the car, and he instantly got flashbacks. "Hey, hey. Calm down. Are you okay?" I ask him. He clearly doesn't look alright, so I leaned over to him and gave him a kiss on the lips. It was a long and sweet kiss, but he was already feeling better. He pulled away before looking at me shyly with red cheeks. I placed my hand on his knee so he wouldn't feel like that again and drove back to my house. We finally made it back as I helped Juicy out of the car and walked him inside and into the living room. I sat him down on the couch and gave him a blanket so he could have a nap. I'm just thankful that Juicy is alive.
