Author's note: This will be inspired by a scene in the game The Last of Us Part II where Ellie comes back to Dina from killing Nora so why not make it about Eddie and Juicy. Some parts of this I completely made up that aren't in the game so you don't have to come after me. Enjoy :)
Gaege's POV:
Eddie was out on a mission to find this one girl to look for answers about his immunity. I still can't believe he is immune to the infection. It's still surreal to me. A few hours pass, and I hear the theatre door being knocked on. I jogged up to the door to let Eddie in. I opened the door and wasn't expecting him to be covered in blood and his face distraught from something. "Woah woah, Eddie, are you okay?" I ask him quietly, not trying to startle him. He pulls out the map and shows me something. "That's.. where she is.. i- in Santa Barbara.." I grabbed the map from his shakey hands and led him upstairs. "Come on. Let's get you cleaned up." I say, wrapping my arm around his shoulder. We both walked upstairs as he sat down waiting for me. I filled up a bucket of water and grabbed a cloth, wetting it with the water. "Arms up." I instructed. He did what I told him to do as I grabbed his shirt and slid it off him. I could tell how terrified he was. His sanity definitely wasn't stable. He must have done something so bad it scarred him. I sat down behind him and grabbed the cloth, rubbing it all over his back, trying to get the blood and dirt off. The worst part is that I knew that wasn't his own. He started to breathe heavily and nearly started to cry. "I killed her..." He whispers, realising what he'd done. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders from behind him. He places his hands over my arms, starting to tear up. "I don't want to lose you.." He whispered again, his face leaning on my arms. I kissed him on the shoulders and neck, leaning my cheek against him. "I know.." I simply say, not trying to scare him. We sit like this for a few minutes, enjoying the moment together while Eddie calms down. I continued cleaning him up before I was done. I got up and tipped the water outside, chucking the bucket and coming back inside. Eddie dried himself up before putting a shirt on. We decided to go to bed as Eddie was feeling tired. We both lay down on our make shift bed and cuddled up into the blankets together. Eddie immediately closed his eyes, letting sleep overcome him. I moved a piece of his long hair from his eyes and tucked it behind his ear, placing a hand on his shoulder, admiring my peaceful boyfriend. He shuffled closer to me and cuddled into me, his hands around my waist. I wrapped my arms around him, making sure he was safe. "I love you, Eddie." I whisper to him, waiting for his response. "I love you too, Gaege." He replies, going back to sleep. I give him a kiss on the head as we both fall asleep tangled in each other's arms.
