The lands of the fairies were deep and magical; there were some places within the realm that the fairies hadn't even explored yet.

But, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Ofan Village, there was a giant stump with overgrowth and flowers all around it. This is where the Magic Council dwelled, making laws and decisions in the fairies' best interests.

It was a temple where the Council made the most important decisions for fairykind.

The wisest fairies led the realm with superiority and power. They oversaw everything that happened in their world; and if something wasn't up to their standards, they made sure to intervene.

The leader of the Council was Lady Larkdale, a fearless and ruthless leader who commanded all the fairies in the realm. She was surrounded by seven other fairies on the Council to help her make decisions, ones with different backgrounds and ideas to try and speak out for different fairies across the lands.

On this particular evening, the Council was gathered to discuss the day's happenings.

The fairies each sat down in their corresponding thrones, preparing for their meeting. Lady Larkdale used her large wand to gather the fairies' attention, waving it in the air.

"My dear Council members, bring forth business matters that should be brought to our attention." Larkdale announced, a broad smile on her face.

Each of the Council members had fancy outfits and large, colorful wings. They were the most elite fairies in the realm, as they were the only fairies awarded with wands.

"I am here to report that the tulip production rate is steadily getting higher." Mistress Heartwinger declared. "We seem to be gaining new tulips every single day."

"Very good," Lady Larkdale nodded, the rest of the Council members following suit. "Has the decline in daisies steadied out yet?"

"Unfortunately, no." Heartwinger sighed. "We may have to plant extra in this growing season to make up for the ones that aren't surviving."

Lady Larkdale nodded, turning to Sir Toadbiller. "Any news on the wetland population?"

Toadbiller smiled. "The fish are laying a sufficient amount of eggs this year. We should be perfectly fine by the time harvest season comes around."

"Very good, sir." Lady Larkdale scanned the room. "Ah! Lord Brilland. Have you seen anything suspicious on your new firefly security camera inventions?"

Lord Brilland stood up, folding his old, bony hands together. His robe followed him closely along the floor. "Lady Larkdale, I believe that I have video footage that we may want to discuss." He said. He grabbed his wand and waved it up and down, and through the nearest window came a blue firefly with green eyes and a glowing yellow abdomen. It was obviously a robot, but disguised cleverly enough not to make any of the locals suspicious.

Brilland clicked a button on the device and it began projecting video footage it had gotten throughout the day. Brilland fast-forwarded a bit until he reached what he wanted to present to the Council.

"Watch carefully," he explained. "See anyone we know?"

"Well, of course, these are all residents of the-" Lady Larkdale began, but stopped mid-sentence. "Pause it for a moment, Brilland." She said, standing from her throne and flying closer to examine the scene. "Is that..."

"I do believe so, ma'am." Brilland replied, a small smirk appearing on his face.

"Ellabelle," Toadbiller scowled.

Lady Larkdale continued to look at the paused video. "Now wait a moment. Brilland, that fairy there, in the white cloak. Have you ever seen her before?"

"Couldn't say, ma'am. I see wagon loads of fairies every day on these cameras." Brilland shrugged.

Lady Larkdale flew back to her seat and repositioned herself gracefully. "Council members, I believe something awfully strange is going on here, and it involves our favorite rebel fairy." She said, glaring at no one in particular. She turned her head back to Brilland. "Brilland, I want you to investigate this matter further. We must see what she's up to... yet again."

The Magic Council sat there in silence, but they all knew that what they were about to do was going to wreak so much wonderful havoc.
